This is murder, serious matter. The police will take their time investigation thoroughly. It's not been that long since the murder and you can't expect them to name the murderer already.

I wasn't having a go at the police, which you'd have noticed upon reading my post.

The newspapers report that clues have pointed to notorious underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. It is an established fact that Dawood's men are deeply into match-fixing and betting so that connection cannot be ruled out at the moment... I think even the Jamaican police are saying this now.

In fact, the report says that Dawood's brother Anees and a bookie was present in Jamaica and so they'll be the prime suspects now.

apparently security at the pegasus hotel isnt that great - there have been 2 other murders there recently, and my dad stayed there once; they accidentally gave him and another person keys to the same room

it really could have been anyone who done it

So they suspect he was killed to stop letting out match-fixing, how sad because one way or another there going to be revealed.

You'd be surprised how often that happens in Hotels all over the world. All due respect to your dad, but security would have been higher for people involved in the worldcup. Afterall Brian Lara's room was opposite Bob's and you could hardly let just anyone get access to that, he'd never get out of his room for fans.

When I went to the Hilton in Port-of-Spain during the Group matches, the players before the match would just hang out in the lobby, come out all the time, to the pool, eat breakfast with us, ect.
There was some security- the whole wing where the players stayed was blocked off (with guards, ect) and there were like milatary/SWAT team people with big guns walking around.
Again, this is very sad. Lets cut out the sick jokes, aight?

Yes no more sick jokes.

It's very sad indeed. May God give courage to his family.
I think we all have to get our perspectives right. After all cricket
is a game and we should not let our emotions overrule our behaviour.
Also let us all have a sense of balance in both defeats and victories.
After all life is more precious than victory in sport.
Bob will be missed by all. His reach and impact has been felt across
the globe.
May his soul rest in peace.

Police received a phone call from an anonymous man, thought to be from Pakistan, claiming that aconite killed Woolmer.
