There's a Panorama on the Woolmer story - Murder at the World Cup - being shown on BBC One on Monday.

Should be interesting viewing...

Well that Panorama was rather rubbish. It just went through all the possible theories and discussed them - nothing new...

Although it did seem to hint strongly that the fact there was nothing on the CCTV meant that the killer was on the 12th floor already.

You wouldn't expect a major tip off to be shown to the public on Panorama....

Like what?

If you thought the programme would reveal anything other than the police already know you'd be very foolish. Panorama is a good programme but in something like this it's not going to reveal anything that reveal the killer(s), how he died, etc due to the fact they'd be legally obliged to tell the police first.

Apparently now Woolmer was not murdered - link to BBC Story.

They are expecting this to be released soon.

What a farce of a story - all the wondering about the killer, and then we realise that it was natural circumstances after all...:(

The Jamaican police, who are investigating Bob Woolmer's death, have confirmed that he died of natural causes and was not murdered. This is now confirmed, it is no longer speculation.

Three expert opinions concluded that the report saying that Woolmer was strangled was wrong, and reports now show there was no sign that he was was poisoned. To prove it, the investigation has been closed.

Weren't all those 3 expert pathologists foreign aswell?

Terrible case, wreaks of mass incompetance. Cases like this make me glad that our police force is one of the best in the world.

Hopefully it'll make it easier for Bobs family. They really mucked up though, look at his medical history and combine it with the lack of 'suspicious' evidence and it was fairly obvious, no?

Knee-jerk reaction.
They came out straight away and said he was murdered. They should have waited a week, had the 3 Pathoglogists do their thing, then when they finally came to a proper conclusion release details.
It was a complete fabrication that he was murdered, from the majority of things coming from the Pathologists reports there was nothing much to suggest he had been poisoned or strangled, I think they just got caught up idiotically in the comspiracy theories.

Like the majority of the members on this board sadly.
