Kudos to NKR and Washington - the former proving to be thorn in the flesh again for Australia while the latter definitely being the find of the series for India.
Follow on has been avoided but Australia still firmly ahead. They can bat 2 full sessions and set a target in excess of 350 with 4 sessions to get India out.
It's commendable though that India did survive the whole day with just 5 wickets in the bank (yes, some time was lost but still counts), which makes one wonder just how much dead weight are we carrying around in the team.
If Cummins can get 49, Washington can get 50 and NKR regularly getting 40s, how on earth are some of the "specialist" batsmen not able to hold down the fort?
