Pujara and Vihari let's be honest are a thing of Past.

On Vihari I remember in the last tour here said that he is a similar player to that of Pujara both quite up with their defensive game and only one of them can fit into the playing 11.

After Pujara was dropped Vihari should have played but he was dropped too.

Also Shami at best has couple of years left.

Akash Deep is an Like to like replacement for him with others in the rank too.

Oh god not him again please. The "test specialist" who shat the bed in both WTC finals despite playing plenty of county cricket. He has disappointed so much in those last years of his.

Also like @WubbaLubbaDubDub said, Vihari ain't it anymore.
I get it about Pujara but Vihari's case is sad. He had so much to offer. I hope the selectors find some good talent who can play for long hours. We have quite a few strokemakers. One or two players who can play the role of fulcrum would be fantastic.

Alright six more please and thank you very much
where did the emojis go

Espncricinfo headline says "Jaiswal and Pant raise hopes of a draw"

It's the hope that kills.

Edit: And Pant gone. Floodgates have been opened. Still a good 30 overs to go.

The problem we have is that still in our way is Jaiswal (183 balls faced today), Sundar (has done this exact trick before), and Reddy (100 in 1st). I think losing Pant then kills the India win chances, but a draw remains very on

With Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja should not make it to Sydney.
