It was so clear why Sachin came out tentative after lunch. I must say good decision by Clarke to keep bowling himself because Sachin also has this mental stigma against relatively unknown quantity bowlers, especially left arm spinners. I was expecting him to get out anytime, and he duly did. But still, terrible stuff from him. With the new ball an over away, thats a shocking way of letting the team down.

Haven't seen too much variation from him so far, I don't see him staying in the side permanently unless he does something special in this series.

Stuck to Cricinfo because there was some hope in Laxman. But now thats also gone. Looks like maybe 300 in an overseas test is yet again an impossible reality just like Sachin's 100th ton.

Hilfenhaus is on fire, I've never really thought he was a great bowler but in this series he's been incredible.

Imagine how bad it would be for India if Kohli rallied the team and got a century now only to be suspended for the next test.

It wont go that far. India look most likely to get out within the next 14 runs. They want to not reach that 300. And no faith in Kohli to last too long. His stupid and fake aggression will eventually get the better of him.
