nah, when hughes first started i thought his weakness was spin. harris got him more times than anyone in South africa, also been bagged by kaneria, and i think spinners in most of the tests in sri lanka. it's not a strong suit, just now he's not even lasting long enough for the spinners to have a go.
India does not want to score 300 even a practice match 
He looks alright against the spinners certainly wouldn't call it a weakness yet as we don't have enough data. However he managed to make a 100 in SL long before a spinner got him and he had no problem taking apart Harris on his way to his back to back 100s in his 2nd test. He has been getting out to them but at times it was through being aggressive, so as I mentioned just not enough data to suggest this.

Another century for Cowan, would be a crime if he's not there for the first test.
Cowan clearly run out from a direct hit by rohit sharma for 95 but is given not out because the umpires view was obscured.
Which channel is showing the match?
if it was showing live, he would have been given out by third umpire..

If Marsh isn't fit then surely Cowan would have jumped ahead of Khawaja. Hard to ignore a guy making 100s for fun even on flat decks as no other guy from these tour games has gotten a 100.

Yeah, Khawaja's going to have to hope that both Marsh and Watson won't be fit, which is still a possibility. Squad should be named tonight according to Arthur, but it'll probably be an extended one with question marks on Marsh/Watson.
