Really scared for Dhonis form. Does anybody think he should be attacking hard and not defend which means let him play his natural game?

Yes. He should just stick to his natural game and not try to complicate things by playing defensive. He played awesome in last test against England because he was playing game in the ODI style.

Pretty bad considering Holland is barely making the Victorian 1st 11.

That's India for you. They will give wickets to some new bowlers and they will hit the experience bowlers. As you can see Bolinger has been hammered at 5 runs per over. Well but I think you have to give credit to Holland. I think he has bowled well.

I feel Dhoni should prolong his career in the shorter formats by playing less tests. Will he understand it and take the lead? He is simply a changed man when he dons the Indian blues. But under whites, he is not even a shadow of himself, he becomes someone else (someone who's struggling a lot)

His form (or lack of it) wont matter if the top order fires. If the top order fires, we can beat Australia. Also both Kohli and Sharma are in good touch which is great signs. I think Kohli with that hundred must have edged Sharma (although I want Sharma for MCG).

Jeez I go out of my way to criticise Holland and he tears it up :facepalm Not looking good for Bollinger with those figures.

Poor batting from India I would say. Yes, Kohli and Sharma looked positive but except these 2, nobody did well. Now let's see how Zaheer goes in bowling.

Have to commend Warner there for allowing guys like Cowan, Khawaja and Hughes some time at the crease.

Australia should pick Bollinger if he is fit.. Bowler's form can't be judge by just 10-15 overs in practice match.
So will Australia pick Holland ahead of Lyon ? :p

If Ishant doesn't play first test then it looks like mithun will be the third seamer.

Brilliant hundred by Kohli, lets hope he scores few more hundred in this test series also.

Obviously. Mithun should be ahead of Vinay Kumar if Ishant doesnt play. Good work by Mithun to get the dangerous Warner out early.

No mate nothing is sure.. if a spinner can take 6 wickets against us in Australia, then vinay might pick 5 wickets also in this practice match.
in 2007 tour, india played 2 spinners in first test match at MCG.
