I'm sure if you have an issue with negative rep for no reason you can contact an admin or a mod via the private messaging system about it.

If Duff Had Posted this in the staff forum....will the staff have improved ???

You know the answer to that because you've been on the staff. There's far more chance of getting things changed if you post in the staff forum and work with people rather than label them all as corrupt and incompetent.
For anyone saying this is personal and down to jeleousy I'd like to say that the fact Duff was a good staff member and a personal friend to many of the staff has made this whole situation much harder and heightened our sense of betrayal.
Duff won't be reinstated to the staff and the reason, for nothing else, is that, we the admins, and his fellow staff members no longer trust or respect him as a colleague.
Also in response to accusations that we decided as soon as Duff posted the thread to fire him; the thread was left open and Duff was given several opportunities to close it himself and apologise for raising the issues in the way he did but chose not to do so and instead continued to post in the staff forum defending his right to be bigger than the whole staff team and indeed the whole forum. After 2 days of this we felt we were left with absolutely no option but to ask him to step down.

The best way to sort issues out is to ask the members themselves.

There was nothing to stop him making a thread asking questions to members without publically displaying his own views on matters.

I think everyone just needs to calm down. Duff was a great staff member and instead of creating threads like this we should be creating threads which highlight the good times we had with Duffy and how much of a pleasure it was to be on the forums with him, and hopefully still will be in the future.

This thread, while it gives people a chance to get their views across, is still ultimately pointless and goes further to degrade the forums. The decision was vindicated, and no matter how much respect or friendship we had with duff, in the real world if an employee goes shouting his mouth off about the company he works for, he will be disciplined and this is what has happened, so lets move on now, hope that duff still continues to contribute, and start to re-build the forum to its former glory!

Right, i've got no choice. If you want to experiment a bit more about freedom of speech, go in front of your local government office and start shouting, abusing its head. Even better with a police station. Do remember to come back and tell us the results. Not in this thread please though.
