Buying Don Bradman Cricket in UK

Asking kindly. Won't ask again. Give each other some air, put the other on the ignore list whatever but jack the personal stuff in.

You should be banned from PC and your IP blocked for all eternity.

He should be banned for not using any footwork whilst playing a shot. #ZombieLogic

@Biggs is spot on (as usual) some folk need to just relax. If you're really desperate to pre order and get it done and dusted then do what @Dutch has done and go pre order from ShopTo. Once the release date does finally change on their site they will almost certainly notify you. And if it doesn't then you can always cancel.

I am positive that we will hear within a couple of days some clarity around the U.K. release and as I said if the release date is as far off as May and you are desperate to play before then you just cancel the pre order and import it from NZ or aus....I have dosh but no brains, so easy.....

@Biggs; I take offence being a viking reject as I have a wonderfully horny helmet...

To put it simply, you're actually crazy if you pay import-prices for this game. Legit crazy... self-fulfill a "whinging brit" cliche all you want, but you'll have the game to buy in the UK sooner than later, Ross has said as much. The idea that you have to (quote) "scrummage [sic] around for over-priced import options" is down to your own poor decision making, instead of just waiting a few more days for an official announcement of a UK distributor.

This!

Why this obsession to have a game on day of release - I can wait no problem and I love cricket

Does someone else having a game few days before you keep people up at night or something :rolleyes

Most amusing Spitfires.

I preordered the game a month ago from Games Exchange for your information.

Ross has confirmed in another thread that the 27th of May date is not realistic anyway. Console players everywhere will have it way, way, way before then.

Sacrilege......haven't slept for weeks waiting for the final confirmation whether cheerleaders are in or out........

Well it all depends on what's the length of delay and how much more do I need to pay to get my hands on the game earlier. If it's a matter of week or thereabouts I am fine but if it's more I am willing to pay a premium to get the game earlier.

don't worry, Ross already confirmed they got cut from final release to enable resources being redirected to adding keyboard controls in

I clearly am getting old as this doesn't enter my thinking at all :noway

Ah thank goodness for that. A cricket game without keyboard controls is just madness. Shame about the cheerleaders though; cricket was made for them.

Few more weeks lads and this place will thankfully be booming with stories and videos and match reports......

I guess it's all about priorities... I would only do it for a cricket game and that too since I have been waiting for a long time for a decent cricket game.

@zim in the hypothetical situation that the console release in the Uk was two months later would you really just wait till then or spend the extra 10 quid on getting it shipped over?

If Two months later would probably see how well game received here first. If its amazing then yes would consider importing

However I wouldn't/am not jumping up and down beforehand about delay. Other games to play/other priorities blah blah blah

I'm getting quite a few games completed recently trying to clear my backlog of unplayed games before DBC releases.
