Natwest ONE DAY SERIES Game 1

Welcome to the first game of the natwest 2 game one day series at the oval. WE have a great series coming up and we have a big preview now.

Here is the situation, sqauds etc

Quite a nice pitch good for batting and the ball will come onto the bat quite well.

So as you can see a few little changes to the Aussie squad from England
Phil Jaques comes into the team to replace Simon Katich due to low fitness levels
Brad Hogg replaces Dan Cullen who has flown back into Australia for his private life.

GILCHRIST MOVES ONTO 54 - AUSTRALIA 0/84 off 16.1 Overs.
Adam Gilchrist has just scored a magnificiant fifty hitting all over the ground. His batting partner Phil Jaques is on 24. Gilchrist has made the 54 in 57 balls hitting a six to make it over 50. Australias run rate is around 5.27 per over.

I fogot to mention after the Jaques post i lost a few wickets and accidentally went through the cuscenes and Australia are 5/147 after 27.0 Overs

Ok what we do will be this. I will have to cancel the series against england because my next two weeks are extremely busy. But straight away saturday week i will definatly start the indian test series!
