Cardiff City - Road To The Premiership (FIFAM 06)

NOVEMBER 2005 - Up, up, up, the only way's up!

After the improvements of October, could Cardiff continue the good form and grab another couple of wins this month?

Playing Preston and Brighton just a month after playing the first match against them is very wierd, but, there we go!

The first match is away to league leaders against Norwich, so naturally, I'm not very confident of getting anything out of that match - but on our day, we can win against anyone!

01/11 - The Championship @ Norwich City

Code:
 NORWICH 0 - 3 CARDIFF
 HT: 0 - 2
 Cardiff: Lee 13; Boland 45; Ferretti 88
 Attn: 25,352
 MoM: Andrea Ferretti (Cardiff)

What the hell happened there! We have just trounced the league leaders on their own patch - sorry, this feels like a dream. Now we've got to try and continue this form!

05/11 - The Championship. Cardiff V Conventry City @ Ninian Park

Code:
 CARDIFF 2 - 1 COVENTRY
 HT: 1 - 0
 Cardiff: Jerome 36, 58
 Coventry: Morrell 65
 Attn: 12,518
 MoM: Cameron Jerome (Cardiff)

Another win!! That's two in two, fantastic performance from the lads again, let's go to Preston with a bit of confidence now, although they look like the team that is going to be automatically promoted.

12/11 - The Championship @ Preston North End

Code:
 PRESTON 3 - 1 CARDIFF
 HT: 0 - 0
 Preston: Nugent pen. 47, 76; Jackson 58
Cardiff: Lee 57; Weston sent off 63; Cox sent off 92
 Attn: 11,965
 MoM: Claude Davis (Preston)

A disappointing defeat, especially after the promise of the previous two matches - although, to be fair, we were down to 9 by the end!

2nd Half of November coming up later on...

12th for you rhys, argyle 8th

great 2 wins shame bout the discipline in the preston game

November Pt2 - Is it really as good as it seems?

19/11 - The Championship. Cardiff V Brighton and Hove @ Ninian Park:

Code:
CARDIFF 1 - 3 BRIGHTON
HT: 1 - 2
Cardiff: Boland 35
Brighton: Richards 6; Robinson 38, 72
Attn: 9,073
MoM: Robinson (Brighton)

An extremely disappointing loss, we have bad days, but this was a very bad day.

26/11 - The Championship. Cardiff V Ipswich @ Ninian Park:

Code:
CARDIFF 1 - 0 IPSWICH
HT: 0 - 0
Cardiff: Jerome 62
Attn: 12,612
MoM: Cameron Jerome (Cardiff)

Yes! A perfect way to end a great month, albeit with two poor losses.

So, another month comes to an end for Cardiff, and we're slowly climbing our way up the table, but have still not yet escaped relegation! Let's make December the month where we finally escape!

2. Norwich 42 pts
--------------------------------------
3. Leeds 41 pts
4. Sheff Utd 41 pts
5. C Palace 40 pts
6. Stoke 39 pts

7. Southampton 38 pts
