1718: GOAL Fulham 0-1 Arsenal
Arsenal take an early lead at Craven Cottage. The young Mexican Carlos Vela
uses his pace to perfection and latches onto a long ball by Kolo Toure. With
just the keeper to beat he slots it into the top corner to give his side the
lead. A fine finish from the youngster.

goalzd0.png
1721: GOAL Fulham 0-2 Arsenal
He's only gone and done it again! Great work down the right by Maxi Rodriguez
leaves Moritz Volz in all sorts of trouble, and after cutting back inside,
Rodriguez lifts a ball into the box. Carlos Vela is left all alone in the
penalty area and he just flicks it into the bottom corner. Poor defending from
Fulham, but Vela continues to shine.

1743: GOAL Fulham 0-3 Arsenal
It may well be game, set and match already. Arsenal go into a 3-0 lead
thanks to a fine finish from Eduardo. A flick on by, that man, Vela
leads Eduardo on goal, who chips the ball delightfully over the diving body of
Antti Niemi. Fulham find themselves with a huge task now.

1751: GOAL Fulham 1-3 Arsenal
Fulham pull one back, and it's a great strike from Brian McBride that
gives them hope. Jimmy Bullard's cross was headed away by William Gallas
only to fall to McBride at the edge of the area. The striker chested it down,
and before the ball hit the floor, he unleashed a cracking volley that soared
into the roof of the net. We may well have a game here in London.

1752: Well that's a shame for Carlos Vela as it seems he was injured in the
build-up to that Fulham goal. The physio is walking him off and it looks like it
could be a head injury. On comes Emmanuel Adebayor to replace him.

1802: Scott Ritchie blows the half-time whistle with the score at 3-1.
Arsenal well in control here at Craven Cottage, but that last goal from Brian
McBride has given the home fans some hope.

Sssh your mouth Stu :p

1824: GOAL Fulham 2-3 Arsenal
Well Arsenal have been pressing, but Fulham pull the deficit bake to one goal.
It's one of the softest goals you will ever see, as Arsenal give the ball away
on the edge of the area. McBride takes it into the area and slides it across
the goal to Luis Jimenez who just taps it into an open net from a few
yards out. What a comeback this would be if Fulham could get another goal.

1849: And that's the full-time whistle. Arsenal controlled the game, but
they did let Fulham back in it after goals either side of half-time. Arsene
Wenger will be pleased with the performance, but he will be concerned with
the way his side gave away two sloppy goals.

Nice to see this back Trev!
