Anyway 20th March. Hopefully we'll get Liverpool, Villareal or Porto.

Somehow I think you would not want Liverpool. If you get Barca, like last year, I'll actually be supporting you for two nights only.

Liverpool didn't beat Madrid because they were that good, Madrid are just poor. Not to take anything away from Liverpool's brilliant performance but Madrid just happen to be a poor team.

If so, why haven't they won the European Cup in the last 3 years?

Because they have in the last four years. And they reached the semis thrice during that, going onto two finals. Impressive I would have to say.

We might have been poor, but Liverpool would have beaten anyone in that 2nd leg.

Here's another pretty amazing stat.

In the last 5 years, the team who have beat the team who beat Real Madrid have won the Champions League!

What? I see us doing very well next season when the likes of Gago, Lass and Huntelaar mature from the experience of this season.

In the last 10 years, the team who beat the team who beat the other three teams in their group has gone on to win the Champions League.
