Next year's final will be on a Saturday at the Bernabeau - thoughts?

Was not aware of the Saturday final but the Bernabeu news is pretty old. Its a shame its in the same year as the World Cup, as most will be already be looking forward to that by then.

If we are to get there it'll be a nightmare to get tickets for, seeing as how it's even easier to get to than Roma, and especially as more families will go as it's on a Saturday night.

Henry has returned to training and is expected to play the final.

Iniesta missed a session I think, but I dont think its a major doubt. Both are rested for tonight.

Yeah I'd agree to be honest. They'll both be fit unfortunately, never in question I don't think, just a bit of mind games. Alves, Abidal and Marquez are big misses for them though.

Alves most certainly. But Marquez and Abidal not really. Puyol and Pique have been first choice in center of defence, and Sylvinho or Pedro will hardly make them miss crappy Abidal.

To be honest, it was never doubtful that Henry and Iniesta would start. It's Barca's last game for 3 months, so why would they not play - it doesn't matter so much if they get injured, does it? I was just hopeful they wouldn't be able to play, but they're still missing some key defenders. It's going to be a great game - I can't wait till Wednesday night.

I am used to Wednesday's finals, but that's actually a smart move. On a Saturday most people don't have much obligations the next day, so they can stay up and watch the match.

Or in my case, have a few pints more and not bother about office the next day. Unfortunately in my case as well, the weekend is friday and saturday.

It's gonna be a nightmare for fans going to the final though with all the flights that will inevitably be more expensive. Especially these budget airlines where good deals can be had.

Wow. That Eto'o goal was an exact replica of his goal against us only he did from the right wing.

Valdez is completely hopeless as well. I can see him costing Barca the game.
