i thought liverpool outplayed AC...just they couldnt finish welll.....but i guess no 1s givin praise to the best player of the night...alessandro nesta....he was brilliant in defence....gattuso wnt nutz and was lookin to kill every1 coming towards their goal.....inzaghi played well .....i think kaka didnt live upto the hype that was made that he will be the difference between the two sides....i guess liverpool tactics cancelled him out....

Who do people think will win this year? It's hard to look past Barca but with the strength and depth in our squad and hargreaves really giving the midfield the boost it needs i reckon we could do it. Plus it's 50 years on from Munich, if theres anything that will inspire you into winning it then its that.

I'm still backing Liverpool to go a fair way this season because the team we have suits the champions league. We've got Toulouse in the qualifiers but that shouldn't be a problem.

You just need to hope that he scores more than 14 goals in the Prem league...and can get some form in the competition.But i agree with you and think they will do well.If we get through the qaulifying stages i think we'll have a very strong run,as our defence has improved and with some nice signings to compliment our already strong squad,we should do very well.

Liverpool since Benitez took over, have always had a team more suited to European football than the Premiership. On the night performers, but lacking consistency.

1-0 at half time...Crouch scoring but he should have 2 more, his heading is so poor! Good performance so far anywat with a changed team, Leto's looked ok and Benayoun has stood out from the rest so far. Toulouse have no ambition.
