Champions League Twenty20 2011

I loved this tweet from Test Match Sofa: 'Immediately people will say that was fixed. But if they fix games to end like that, I'm all for it.'

Spare a thought for Tait who was sensational. Felt bad for him! I was actually wanting SA to win because I am frankly annoyed by Kohli and his antics and I also believe RCB is a Gayle show.

This. Finally the Aussies lose a game to an IPL side, let alone in the most dramatic of fashions. This RCB side will be tough to beat in their own backyard.

----------

As RCB go ecstatic, spare a thought for South Australia. They have a centurion, one of them took five wickets, and yet they lost last ball. How much did the lbw against Dilshan cost them?

Well played Kumar Dharmasena.

True. Don't really know what Ludeman had in mind, especially having had a successful hit three balls prior to that delivery.

Anyway, the only positive for me lies in Somerset having to face only the Mumbai Internationals in the semis. Not writing off MI here, but I'd much prefer facing them than a quality NSW side tbh, especially in Chennai.

Yes he will be!!!! With T20 cricket being so popular in India, he will feel like a Superstar after that shot. Needing 6 to win off the last ball and achieving it is HUGGEEEEEE!!!! Awesome stuff from Karthik!

Yeah I was happy for him at first, but damn he carried on for awhile after.

I agree MI is not a typical IPL team. Having said that I can take criticism from supporters of any country except England. England sends an International team filled with foreigners and Somerset is infact captained by a south african.

Btw what a match today. Aboslutely loved it. Now I want RCB to win CL T20 since CSK has crashed out.

They're obviously not foreigners or they wouldn't be playing for England would they? :rolleyes

And what about Somerset being captained by a South African (the normal captain is in fact English, Royal Challengers Bangalore are captained by a New Zealander?

I was replying to his comment about Mumbai "internationals" :D

Reg. England team they are bending the rules to accomodate the other guys just like Mumbai Indians did. Both are perfectly legal acc. to their team management :lol It is funny people complain about IPL robbing their countries talent while England does the same in International Cricket

I remember saying a post long back (IPL 2008 time), which says English players are not interested in India Premier League cause they themselves form an IPL team with KP, Andrew Strauss, Ravi Bopara, Samit Patel, Owais Shah,....... etc etc as their overseas players:p:lol.

Wow South Australia. I wouldn't have bowled Christian last over, his bowling is way too iffy for me.

Oh SA could have made it a rematch of the Big Bash final. Positives was Ferguson form and Dan Harris showing his consistency once again.

aravind scored 6 runs off 2balls and Ludeman might have thought that Karthik can't hit 6 off 1 ball so he didn't throw and allowed aravind to take a run.

In last match Karthik even hitted Thomas for six, so last ball 6 was just not an luck.
