Blackburn continued their winning run as they beat the Latics 4-2 in a six goal thriller . Morten Pedersen started the scoring from the penalty spot and soon later South African Mokoena scored a stunner from 30 yards . But later Fitz Hall headed not once but twice in his own net and made it 4-0 for Rovers within 40 minutes . At the stroke of half time Dado Prso brought one back and just before the end of match Julius Aghahowa score yet another consolation goal .
Bolton Wanderers 2-0 Fulham

Bolton outplayed Fulham as they went on two win 2-0 . Kelvin Davies scored twice to grabbed all three points for the Wanderers . Fulham had many chances which they missed . But it Kelvin Davies who was in the spot light as he scored one in each half .
Everton 2-3 Aston Villa

Aston Villa's winning run continued as they defeated Everton in an entertaining match . Marlon Harweood scored within 2 minutes and after half hour John Carew doubled the lead . but Everton came back thanks to 2 Yakubu goals in the second half . But it was the stoppage time header from John Carew which separated the two teams and took all three points for Villa .
Newcastle United 3-0 Manchester City

Newcastle United's good run in this season continued as they demolished Man CIty 3-0 . Damien Duff scored the opener with 5 minutes and then Mark Viduka made it two just before 30 minutes . But it was Friedrich's first goal for the club which went on to be the winner . Newcastle took all three points from the game .
Sheffield United 0-4 West Ham United
Brammel Lane
West ham United continued their great from as they smashed Sheffield United for a four . Two goals from Dean Ashton and one each by Craig Bellamy and Lee Bowyer saw West ham take back all three points from the fixture .

4 first half goals saw the two teams share one point each at Vicarage Road . Mido opened the scoring for Boro but Hendersen equalized and soon later Shittu made it 2 fo the home side before Arca scored a stunner from 30 yards to equalized for the away side . no goals were scored in the 2nd half which saw the two teams share one point each .

It was a much welcomed result for Chelsea fans as their title contenders Liverpool were held by the addicks at the valley . Fernando Torres continued his brilliant form and scored in the 4th minute . But 30 minutes later Liverpool were reduced to 10 men when Steve Finnan was send off for a tackle from behind . But it was a very late equalizer from Hasselbaink which broke the hearts of the Liverpool traveling fans .

It was an shocking result to all United supporters as they saw their side concede 4 times at Old Trafford . John Utaka scored at the 20th minute but Carlos Tevez equalized two minutes later . After wards it was all one way traffic as Jermain Defoe grabbed the lead for Pompey 5 minutes later . In the second half John Utaka scored his second before Jermain Defoe went all the way to score his second of the game also in stoppage time . United were completely shock by this result . if this form continues United may be searching for a new manager soon .
Emil Danchev, agent to Bulgarian captain Dimitar Berbatov, confirmed media reports that Chelsea are interest to sign Tottenham Hotspur's want-away striker, but would not say whether and official bid has been made.
Speaking to Bulgarian radio station Gong on Monday, Danchev said: "I know for certain that Chelsea are interested in Dimitar Berbatov, but I cannot comment on anything else."
Reports in British press at the weekend have claimed that the London club put in a bid of 12 million pounds sterling , which has been rejected. The White Hart Lane club, however, could settle for 17 million pounds , five million less than the price tag at the beginning of the summer, British newspaper The Guardian reported on Tuesday.
News of the World, however, reported that Chelsea and Tottenham had already struck a 15 million pound deal, which was delayed only for Spurs to find a replacement striker for Berbatov.
Berbatov is believed to want to join the English Champions and has been a target for Chelsea . Since joining Spurs for 10.9 million pounds (13.6 million euro), Berbatov has scored 23 goals in his first season in the English Premier League.

After winning the first match in charge in style against Estonia now it was the toughest task of the qualifying round . Capello had just one change from the side that beat Estonia 3 days ago . Gareth Barry started for Frank Lampard .

That's just typical! Another Croatia loss for England. Well at least we have to look on the bright side and think of what might of happened if Steve McClaren in charge!
Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz could be on his way to Chelsea this January. Chelsea have reportedly expressed an interest in signing the £10 million-rated Paraguay international, who has enjoyed a productive debut season in the Premier League since joining Blackburn Rovers from Bayern Munich.
Santa Cruz has scored 19 goals in 37 Premier League matches for Blackburn following his £3.8m move, prompting Arsenal and Manchester United to also register an interest in the player.
The 26-year-old said: "The interest from Chelsea is real. But I'm busy now so my representatives will handle anything if there is a concrete offer."
With Andriy Shevchenko likely to leave Stamford Bridge this January, Chelsea are in need of forward reinforcements.
Luis Felipe Scolari has previously expressed an interest in Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov, but has been put off by the London club's £20m valuation.
Valencia's David Villa has also been linked with a £12m move, while Jaan Klaas Huntelaar would also fit the bill as a strong target man to play in tandem with Kaka and Nicolas Anelka.
Meanwhile, Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna want to take Chelsea's striker Claudio Pizarro on loan.
Pizarro signed a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge back in June, after leaving Bayern Munich for free. Pizarro had to spend most of the season on the bench .
Deportivo club president, Augusto Cesar Lendoiro, said: "It would be very good for his development."
