It seems the game engiene has got alright with scores looking real... or still that last four overs problem exist?

Yea they have tweaked the last 4 overs soo not many people are scoring madly in the last 4. My friend made only 30 in the last 4...soo yea looks like it has been fixed

Yep, got home comfortably.

Well, my match started,

We can tell you that HuntingTigers won the toss and elected to field.

Once again fielding first... And was able to get 5 quick wickets,
Code:
0.1 W	Macdonald to Padayachie
[B][COLOR=Red]Great fielding by Malik at extra cover. He swooped, picked up the ball and hit the stumps, though he only had one to aim at.[/COLOR][/B]

0.3 W	Macdonald to Haishen
[B][COLOR=Red]That one reared up off a length, and Haishen top edges the pull straight down the throat of the man at square leg.[/COLOR][/B]

1.4 W	Love to Ahmed
[B][COLOR=Red]Ahmed was mystified as the ball shot at him, he didn't have enough time to react and the ball strikes the middle of his pads, great bowling![/COLOR][/B]

2.2 W	Macdonald to Abdul kadir
[B][COLOR=Red]That was a superb ball by the fast bowler! Abdul kadir simply had no answer to it.[/COLOR][/B]

5.6 W	Love to Haishen
[B][COLOR=Red]Got him! He's gone! The ball swings into Haishen who doesn't move forward and the ball sneaks through the gap, hits the pad and knocks over the off stump.[/COLOR][/B]

So at the end of 6 Overs,

End of Over 6: 31-5, runrate=5.17
Love 3-0-20-2
Tau* 9 (12 balls)
Paki 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Haishen b. Love 17 (FOW: 31/5)

And another wicket goes, Mulli strikes :)

6.6 W Mulligan to Paki
It's snuck back in at the last moment and found an inside edge. That's why they teach you not to go fishing. Back to the pavillion he goes!

Scorecard atm,
End of Over 7: 34-6, runrate=4.86
Mulligan 2-0-7-1
Tau* 12 (16 balls)
Abdul kadir 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Paki c. Folds b. Mulligan 0 (FOW: 34/6)

Hamed strikes in very first over,

7.5 W Hamed to Abdul kadir
The most wonderful looking cover drive by Abdul kadir... but he missed the ball completely... OUT!

Wotton once again starting impressive with two wickets in his very first over :)

Code:
8.6 W	Wotton to Karthikeyan
[B][COLOR=Red]Oh that's magnificent! Cat-like reactions from first slip to take that catch. They'll be replaying that one a few times in the studio.[/COLOR][/B]
8.5 W	Wotton to Mohammed
[B][COLOR=Red]Attempts the cut but the ball is lower than Mohammed anticipated and he only succeeds in chopping it onto his own stumps! Bowled him, albeit with some assistance![/COLOR][/B]

At the end of 9 Overs,

End of Over 9: 40-9, runrate=4.44
Wotton 1-0-1-2

Tau* 14 (20 balls)
Singh lali 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Karthikeyan c. Hamed b. Wotton 0 (FOW: 40/9)

And thats it,

13.3 W Mulligan to Singh lali
Defensive stroke played, but the ball beats the bat as it nips back sharply and the bails are sent up into the air.
End of Over 14: 61-10, runrate=4.36
Mulligan 3-0-20-2
Tau* 32 (36 balls)

So Hunting Tigers need 62 to win. Wotton finishing off with 3-0-6-2

Chasing began, and some hittings from openers,

Code:
1.6 [B]4	[/B]Karthikeyan to Folds
Edged wide of Padayachie and four.

1.4 [B]4	[/B]Karthikeyan to Rampaul
Flighted up, on off stump. A bit too full though and Rampaul leans forward to caress it elegantly between the bowler and mid off.

3.1 [B]4[/B]	Karthikeyan to Folds
You won?t see a better pull shot than that all day. Four runs

4.4 [B][COLOR=Red]6[/COLOR][/B]	Mohammed to Folds
That is huge!! Right over the top of the stand! The third umpire will be bringing the box of balls out to find a replacement.

6.3 [B][COLOR=Red]6	[/COLOR][/B]Mohammed to Folds
Folds has just clobbered it! six runs all the way!

6.6 [B]4	[/B]Mohammed to Rampaul
Exquisite on drive for four. Impeccable timing and placement.
6.5 [B][COLOR=Red]6[/COLOR][/B]	Mohammed to Rampaul
A dreadful ball from Mohammed and Rampaul whallops that one for a maximum.

Thats it, Hunting Tigers Win by 10 Wickets :happy

Code:
And that's the end of the match. HuntingTigers won by 10 wickets.
Manuj	61-10
HuntingTigers	62-0 (7 Overs)
[B][COLOR=DarkGreen]
Folds*	31 (23 balls)
Rampaul	28 (19 balls)[/COLOR][/B]

Once again openers finished it off :)

hehe Syl, i guess, next opponent is tough tmrw as he has chased 200+ in first Twenty20 game by 6 wickets and 3 overs left and also seemed to have won the league games so far convincingly.

Well, here is the reporters summary... I think, no change,

Thats good convincing victory :) Your bowlers have done a good job!

I just caught my game!

1 run to win...

End of Over 12: 111-2, runrate=9.25, reqrunrate=0.13 (111-10)
Husni 3-0-21-0
Overton* 68 (36 balls)
Naidoo 41 (32 balls)

12.3 1 Chinthaka to Overton
Steered to deep third man and an easy single taken.

That is it!!! We win the match...

We started off well in bowling,

Whitty was 4/7 off 4, Poke 4/15 off 3 and cash 0/36 [ he doesnt like 20/20 ] Ryno 1/33 [ expensive a usual ] and Polonowita 1/16 [ decent ]

While chasing, i lost WIjenayake and Duminda in the first over itself, both for a duck, but Overton and Naidoo steadied it...

my top order drope from respectable to competant, but with Aziz becoming fit enough to play, i can take both my top and middle order up one level

Midworth* 40 (34 balls)
Ali 9 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Moodley b. Dean 31 (FOW: 148/5)
Decent score, lets see how my bowlers do now, really need to restrict them and take wickets often to have a chance.

Perfect!

Mcmahon 1-0-3-1

4.2 W Bignot to Hogg
Attempted the reverse paddle, but the ball goes straight on and hits off stump. What a soft dismissal.

Its all gone quiet...anoying partnership!

Beautiful delivery finds an edge. Midworth grabs it, the appeals go up. He's out.
Im sensing this one is drawing to a close

Last Wicket: Townsend c. Midworth b. Bignot 29 (FOW: 93/4)
Or is it!? Ahmed goes for 2 the next over and then this
16.1 W Mcmahon to Forde
Forde goes for an agricultural stroke with mid wicket clearly on his mind but fails to make contact and his middle stump goes for a walk. Nice change of pace from Mcmahon.
Wicket Maiden at a crucial time! 27 from 18...Another Geniuses-Bullets game on the cards!
End of Over 17: 132-5, runrate=7.76, reqrunrate=9.00 (158-5)
Mcmahon 3-1-15-2
Van heerden* 24 (21 balls)

Last Wicket: Forde b. Mcmahon 52 (FOW: 132/5)
Brilliant from Ahmed, no wickets but only 2 from the over, 4 from his final 2 overs

Ahmed 4-0-17-0
Maxfield* 1 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Forde b. Mcmahon 52 (FOW: 132/5)
But Macca has blown it, 20 from his final over!
End of Over 19: 154-5, runrate=8.11, reqrunrate=5.00 (158-5)
Mcmahon 4-1-35-2
Van heerden* 36 (29 balls)
Maxfield 10 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Forde b. Mcmahon 52 (FOW: 132/5)

I lost by 6 runs. they made 199-2 both from Sadlier, then I made 193-0. wtf is up with that! twenty20 needs some work,a team wouldn't lose if they had all 10 wickets left, they'd go all out attack.
