heres the reporters summary. My 2 openers aren't exactly agressive but I should have won this
Hudson Tigers Broady
Top Order: feeble mediocre
Middle Order: feeble woeful
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: abysmal feeble
Spin Bowling: woeful feeble
Fielding: feeble abysmal

I won my BT20 with some ease.

For a change, Tuckett lost the toss, but we were sent in to bat anyways. Crouch got the innings off to a flier, with a 25 ball 50. That's twice now that he has gotten out at exactly 50. His innings featured 4 fours and 3 hits over the fence. The experience Cutler steadied the innings with a steady 68 ball 72, 9 fours and a six. Former skipper Arthur Dennis coming in at one drop clattered 40 off 23 with 5 fours and a six, while Rudi fell for a golden duck! Abeen hit a six and a four in his 4 ball, 11 runs stay, and the Lions managed to rack up 186/3 in their 20 overs.
With an imposing target, Curzon CC started off all guns blazing -a four and a six in the first three balls!- but collapsed to 65 a/o in 12.1 overs. Folkes took 2/15, Rudi 1/12, Crouch 2/23, Eli 1/6 and Tuckett the star with 4/8. Abdeen held onto 5 catches and initiated a stumping in an impressive stint behind the stumps.
So in all, the Lions win by 121 runs, with Seamus Cutler adjudged the Man of The Match.

You guys will probably laugh at me but I haven't seen this on battrick before so Im like, "OMG it can actually happen!!?"

7.5 W Parsons to Corcoran
He's hit that one twice. Naughty, naughty, this isn't swingball you know.

Wasn't in my game thankfully but even still!

I won my 20/20 easily by 186 runs. My opener got 105 off 54 balls! Woooo! :D

Seeing as the tables haven't been updated Im going to work out my own table and make an estimate as to what I need to win my last game by in order to get through! LOL, its against the hardest team though! :(

Theres what I think my table looks like.....

P W T L Points NRR
Luxy Brown Caps 2 2 0 0 4 +2.25
Blanco Blitzers 2 1 0 1 2 +2.20
Norfolk & Hope 2 1 0 1 2 -0.25
Snettyville 2 0 0 2 0 -4.56

With:

Blanco vs Luxy Brown Caps
Norfolk & Hope vs Snettyville

as the final fixtures

Now seeing as I need to beat top of the table in my last match,if I win I should beat them by more than 0.05 run rate after all thats like 1 run anyway :p

And the omen looks good too! I beat Snettyville more convincingly than they did, I scored more and conceeded less!

I just hope my guys dont freeze tomorrow, we can actually make it through!! What a turn around that would be!!

Cmon you Blitzers!!!! :boxing

Can someone post how my team is giong in my current game. Cant access BT atm?

Thanks

You're looking at a total around 140-150
Maughan's made a fifty.

6/143
Maughan made 58 n.o. in 43 balls
Hanson made 55 in 44 balls
Pretty much everyone else failed to start.

Probably a respectable score against a good attack.

Meanwhile, my game, and alas my BT20, is over. 10 wicket win!

Cronulla Sharks 79 all out (11.2)
Menzies 5/5 (2.0)
Cable 2/9 (2.0)
Sheppard 2/22 (2.2)
"tew for tew tew in tew overs and tew balls" as the 12th Man's Richie Benaud would say

Fighting Mongooses 0/82 (8.2)
Way 40 n.o. (24 balls)
Browne 41 n.o. (26 balls)

Pity, really. I had so much more batting to do.

Cheers to both of you

yeh i knew i would get slaughterd, he has a good team

Well my match started,

We can tell you that Dynamic Daredevils won the toss and elected to field.

for the first time in Twenty20, i am batting first

I knew it.. thats why dont want to bat first..... 9 dot balls out of 18 deliveries so far, :(

End of Over 3: 23-0, runrate=7.67
Rampaul 2-0-18-0
Folds* 12 (8 balls)
Rampaul 11 (10 balls)

Alright start Suren.

I won my game on TIE and resting my star batter (who wouldn't have been needed) and Islam. Very impressed with Roberts he might just find a starting gig.

shahab won the toss and elected to bat.

shahab 4/154 (Sam 1/10, Roberts 2/25)
Baggy Blues 0/157 in 16 overs (Liddle 80(50), Steele 66(47)

Congrads for an awesome win Syl :)

And in my game, some smashings came,
Code:
3.3 [B][COLOR=Red]nb6	[/COLOR][/B]Nickson to Rampaul
no ball, Full delivery and well timed. High over the umpire for six!

4.6 [B]4[/B]	Haishen to Rampaul
Rampaul showed Haishen absolutely no respect there! It was a decent delivery pitched up on off stump, but Rampaul carved it over cow corner for four runs. Haishen does not look happy at all!

4.4 [B]4[/B]	Haishen to Folds
Wide delivery, Folds found the gap past gully.

4.2 [B]4	[/B]Haishen to Folds
A cracker out of the top draw from Folds, short and rising outside off stump, sits up just a bit off the deck and it's ferociously pulled down through wide mid wicket.

Scorecard atm, Last over was 3 runs over with 3 dot balls
End of Over 6: 56-0, runrate=9.33
Nickson 3-0-20-0
Folds* 29 (18 balls)
Rampaul 25 (19 balls)

I can still find lots of dot balls... Folds reaching his fifty,

11.5 1 Haishen to Folds
Short ball, Folds mistimes the cut to the vacant cover region and it's only a single.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

100 partnership yet again for openers. And finally Rampaul departed,
13.4 W Haishen to Rampaul
Rampaul wandered down the pitch and totally missed it! Easily stumped by Gobern

Now Malik at the crease... Lets see, i hope dot balls dont turn up much in end overs.

End of Over 14: 116-1, runrate=8.29
Haishen 4-0-38-1
Malik* 3 (2 balls)
Folds 57 (42 balls)
Last Wicket: Rampaul st. Gobern b. Haishen 49 (FOW: 113/1)

Nice, Malik gone

15.5 W Paki to Malik
Bowled! The long walk back to the pavilion begins now. Malik was well beaten there!

A good over to follow,
Code:
16.6 [B]4[/B]	Rampaul to Alshaun
You will not see better timing than that. Effortlessly stroked back past Rampaul for four.
16.5 [B]3	[/B]Rampaul to Folds
Off the back foot through extra cover but Haishen does well to chase it down.
16.4 [B]4	[/B]Rampaul to Folds
Short and on his hips. Whipped away for a boundary.
16.3 [B]1[/B]	Rampaul to Alshaun
Worked down to third man for a single.
16.2 [B]1[/B]	Rampaul to Folds
One run. On off stump and pushed to mid off.
16.1 [B]4[/B]	Rampaul to Folds
Overpitched outside off. Driven to the left of Ford at mid off who misfields. He should have stopped that. The bowler gives him a glare as the ball rolls over the rope.

So 3 overs to go,

End of Over 17: 155-2, runrate=9.12
Rampaul 3-0-35-0
Folds* 78 (53 balls)
Alshaun 9 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Malik b. Paki 11 (FOW: 133/2)

I need Folds giving strike to Alshaun.

Looks like you will be getting a decent total here. Will be interesting seeing how his team goes with the bat.
