I lost my allrounder a couple of overs ago.

End of Over 33: 116-7, runrate=3.52, reqrunrate=2.94 (165-10)
Hodges 7-1-24-1
Longrigg* 0 (10 balls)
Caskey 6 (19 balls)
Last Wicket: Charlton c. Serrant b. Duffy 4 (FOW: 112/7)

Alot of trouble now.
BUt Longrigg just hit a six.

33.3 6 Karthikeyan to Longrigg
Awesome shot by Longrigg, when that ball eventually starts to come back down it'll have snow on it!

My league is fine this was a cup game.

What I meant is what division. V, III, VI etc.?

End of Over 34: 123-7, runrate=3.62, reqrunrate=2.69 (165-10)
Karthikeyan 7-1-30-0
Longrigg* 7 (15 balls)
Caskey 6 (20 balls)
Last Wicket: Charlton c. Serrant b. Duffy 4 (FOW: 112/7)

NO!!!!!!!!

34.1 W Hodges to Longrigg
Charges the delivery, struck in the air but not very far, Burgess takes the catch at mid wicket a few metres inside the circle.

Handbury's highest score is 49. Which he scored in his first ever match. I'm gonna need that 49. My chances of winnings are very slim now.

34.3 4 Hodges to Handbury
Fantastic shot by Handbury! Shortish straight ball, pulled powerfully through mid wicket. Deep square leg is helpless to stop that rocket.

Yes! Four to Handbury! 39 required now.

@ gilly ,you can win this one , don't loose hope.
@Syl So you are out of the cup. Were u just promoted to league IV. Are the team in league IV highly better than V teams?

Forme arderly is on debut while thrope is my Ricky pointing at no.3. He scored 92* in the first cup game building a mcth winning partnership of 175 runs with opener. He finshed it off as well.

End of Over 17: 92-2, runrate=5.41
Abdul kadir 2-0-12-0
Thorpe* 46 (44 balls)
Ardley 32 (36 balls)

Last Wicket: Salahuddin c. Ahmed b. Ghandi 10 (FOW: 27/2)

End of Over 35: 127-8, runrate=3.63, reqrunrate=2.60 (165-10)
Hodges 8-1-28-2
Caskey* 6 (20 balls)
Handbury 4 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Longrigg c. Burgess b. Hodges 7 (FOW: 123/8)

18.5 2 Abdul kadir to Thorpe
Pushed into the leg side, Thorpe comes charging down for the second, fantastic running there.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
Fifty for Thrope, typical his style

Abdul kadir 3-0-20-0
Thorpe* 52 (50 balls)
Ardley 38 (42 balls)

Last Wicket: Salahuddin c. Ahmed b. Ghandi 10 (FOW: 27/2

My tailenders doing very very well! Touch wood.

Game over me thinks now. I jinxed em. :(
38.5 W Hodges to Handbury
A beauty from Hodges! Pitched up, with a hint of away swing. Handbury is left pushing at thin air.

End of Over 39: 139-9, runrate=3.56, reqrunrate=2.45 (165-10)
Hodges 10-1-31-3
Caskey* 10 (29 balls)
Tahir 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Handbury b. Hodges 9 (FOW: 139/9)

I hope that Tahir is a good batsman.

Karthikeyan 10-1-40-0
Tahir* 1 (3 balls)
Caskey 11 (33 balls)
Last Wicket: Handbury b. Hodges 9 (FOW: 139/9)

25 needed. 10 overs remaining.
Can they do a Lee and Kasper, but in an ODI and actually win?

40.4 . Burgess to Caskey
Great stop! Saved a certain four!

Damn. Really needed that.

That's quite a low scoring game, didn't think us noobs had them.

I know. Usually they are really high scoring games. Chasing 320 and all that.
I probably shouldn't have changed my pitch to green yesterday.

End of Over 41: 142-9, runrate=3.46, reqrunrate=2.67 (165-10)
Burgess 6-2-18-2
Tahir* 1 (6 balls)
Caskey 11 (36 balls)
Last Wicket: Handbury b. Hodges 9 (FOW: 139/9)

Run rate required heading upwards. :(

Damn. Game over.

41.2 W Petrus to Tahir
Outswinger finds the edge of Tahir's bat, and into the gloves of Van der merwe it goes. Beautiful bowling!

And that's the end of the match. Green Jelly won by 23 runs.
Green Jelly 165-10
Gillys Demolition Team 142-10

End of Over 42: 142-10, runrate=3.38
Petrus 5-0-6-3
Caskey* 11 (36 balls)

I thought I had it in the bag when I was 3/96. But I was wrong.

What a match this is going to be next week in the more important league match.

17.4 W Rahim to Mahmood
What a catch! Mahmood attempts to sweep and gets a big edge. Jalaluddin must have dived 10 feet to get a glove on that... one for the DVD I think.

Gone. Hansen in now. Looking for a big score from him

End of Over 29: 91-8, runrate=3.14
Moodley 8-3-8-4

Things are looking really good! The spinner is making life difficult for them on this green pitch! :)
