Commentary Thread

I am TIE this match :) I need to rest players to get the contest even which is a shame as I want my batters and bowlers dominating the averages as well.
Still got Sam to come and he will cause this team all sorts of problems.

You two are going well too I see. Looks like we're going to be chasing a small total.

Ha ha. But I bet that you're playing a good team. I'm playing a team that joined 2 weeks ago.I've lost 5 straight and my team is in the crappest form. If I was in good form, I smash this team.

Lol ive vsd this team in league like 6 times and they have won all the time. But my team has undergone like so many changes for this season. so hopefully i can hang on.

I aslo fell short by 4 runs against the best team in my league last week. It was so close

Well seeing as Chavhanga shouldn't be needed again well he definitely won't be making his maiden 100 I may as well cheer on my team to bowl this team out for under a 100.

My med/med bowler just picked up his 2nd hmmm how bad is this guys team going. He is meant to have a good top order but they didn't last.

16.4 W Shorey to Piper
What a beauty from Shorey, swings in from outside of off and ends up removing the middle wicket! Sensational Stuff!

End of Over 17: 74-7, runrate=4.35
Shorey 4-1-9-2
Hoyte* 24 (39 balls)
Illett 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Piper b. Shorey 2 (FOW: 74/7)

Expensive over.
Code:
17.6 4	Handbury to Hussain
Black comes across dives and tries to flick the ball back in field to save a certain boundary but gets tangled up with it and ends up dragging it over the boundary rope with him. The umpire has no choice but to award 4.
17.5 .	Handbury to Hussain
He’s gone at that with hard hands but luckily the ball has not carried to gully.
17.4 3	Handbury to Byrne
Pitched on the toes, strongly clipped away through wide mid wicket.
17.4 nb.	Handbury to Byrne
no ball, Played and missed. Somehow it misses the stumps too and the ball whistles through to Bridges.
17.3 2	Handbury to Byrne
Mid off has misfielded allowing the batting side to come back for an easy two.
17.2 2	Handbury to Byrne
Byrne drives it straight down the ground, the fielder from mid off gives it a chase and restricts it to two runs.
17.1 .	Handbury to Byrne
What a ripper! That ball has left him off the seam.

End of Over 18: 90-3, runrate=5.00
Handbury 4-1-18-1
Byrne* 18 (14 balls)
Hussain 8 (19 balls)
Last Wicket: Shackell b. Handbury 23 (FOW: 68/3)

Ha ha. We're the same score after 18 overs, Binga. :p

Your opponent seems to be recovering Gilly :(

Another wicket and only 2 more overs before Sam does some cleaning up if needed.

17.3 W Hamed to Hoyte
He's waving his bat as if he's a magician trying to stop the bails from looping up in the air. Well bowled by Hamed.

End of Over 18: 78-8, runrate=4.33
Hamed 4-0-14-2
Illett* 0 (2 balls)
Harris 0 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Hoyte b. Hamed 28 (FOW: 78/8)

End of Over 19: 93-3, runrate=4.89
Ryno 3-0-22-0
Shafqatullah* 12 (23 balls)
Barron 20 (20 balls)

Last Wicket: Kagkwo lbw b. Leeds 26 (FOW: 60/3

Ryno is bowling alot better then his first over of which he gave away 17 runs.

19.2 . Handbury to Hussain
When the fathers of the game invented it in the days of yore, little did they realise what boredom they are responsible for thanks to a combination of Hussain and Handbury on the wicket.

What does that mean?

End of Over 20: 92-3, runrate=4.60
Handbury 5-1-20-1
Byrne* 18 (20 balls)
Hussain 10 (25 balls)
Last Wicket: Shackell b. Handbury 23 (FOW: 68/3)
I need a wicket to break this little partnership.

Guessing your guys has a boring scrap on the wicket.

Just as I thought Sam comes in and bang goes another.

20.1 W Sam to Illett
The ball rises off the length and it's a top edge. That's an easy catch for Masibulele.

One more Syl, just one more.

I'm gonna play Fifa World Cup 2006 on my PSP. :)

Ryan into action, too bad Hitish was finishing bowler as he deserved more than 3 wickets.

23.6 W Ryan to Harris
Big appeal by Ryan, and no hesitation by the umpire. That was plumb in front.

End of Over 24: 88-10, runrate=3.67
Ryan 7-1-32-1
Brits* 4 (10 balls)
