Wicket! Big wicket! Crucial to get the batsman who is set out!

He's on a haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttrrrrrick!!!!!

End of Over 45: 257-6, runrate=5.71
Tahir 8-0-57-3
Ali* 46 (35 balls)
Singh 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Karthikeyan lbw b. Tahir 0 (FOW: 257/6)
44.6 W Tahir to Karthikeyan
It's fast, it's full, it's straight, and the umpire says it's out lbw.

And a wicket next over!!!!

45.5 W Caskey to Singh
Good watching and catching by Bridges, it was coming with speed!

Caskey's on a haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatriccccccccccck!!!!!!!!!!!1

End of Over 46: 264-8, runrate=5.74
Caskey 8-0-58-2
Ali* 48 (37 balls)
Singh lali 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley b. Caskey 0 (FOW: 264/8)
45.6 W Caskey to Moodley
Good ball. Caskey hit those wooden stick things in the ground and the twigs on top went flying.

Tahir misses out on his hattrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiick!!

46.1 2 Tahir to Ali
Double trouble here as a misfield by Handbury at midwicket lets the batsmen scamper through for two.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

End of Over 47: 273-8, runrate=5.81
Tahir 9-0-66-3
Ali* 56 (42 balls)
Singh lali 1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley b. Caskey 0 (FOW: 264/8)

Caskey coming into ball. Crowd going crazy..........

*Silence*

47.1 1 Caskey to Ali
Banged in, and it hits Ali's bat handle. That could have gone anywhere but it drops square, with nobody there. Caskey jumps up, and holds his head in his hands as the batsmen run through for a quick single.

Oh so close! Nearly a hattrick! Brilliant ball!

Was expecting you to post your usual 260, should be an interesting battle none the less with your respectable spin bowling rating.

Good performance by my bowlers
45.4 W Sam to Way
Through the gate went the ball, and to the pavilion went Way. A great wicket taking delivery!

46.1 W Hitish to Cable
A huge appeal from Hitish, Masibulele and the slip cordon. The umpire takes his time and then raises his finger. That's out.

Gone! Mr Singh Lali goes!

47.6 W Caskey to Singh lali
Hands like flypaper! That one really stuck.

End of Over 48: 278-9, runrate=5.79
Caskey 9-0-63-3
Ali* 58 (44 balls)
Rudd 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Singh lali c. Handbury b. Caskey 4 (FOW: 278/9)

Yeah, well as I said, there was experimentation, I sent my two top blokes in first and set them to attack, looking to dominate the new ball. In fact most of the team was given attacking orders to see whether there are any tells as to who should attack. I think obviously my normal orders and positioning work much better, though 200 was surprising after that start.

Now this part is going to be interesting, the openers are both set to VA (if we get to the death, that could mean a quick end), then the destructive RM first change is normal, then the spinner is VD and the fifth change is also VD. Moodley has been in top form, so he and Cable might hopefully prove strangling.

I see well I would be the perfect team to try things out against. I'm pretty much settled with my lineup now.

Thought I was going well

2.2 4 Mametsa to Steele
Worked it around to a vacant backward square leg boundary, well placed.

2.6 4 Mametsa to Steele
Mametsa delivers a nice juicy half-volley on off stump. Steele duly obliges by driving him straight down the ground for four.

But Steele has let Chavhanga go in early.

3.4 W Miah to Steele
Got'im! That one reared up nastily and Steele could only fend it off to the keeper.

HATRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4.4 W Rudd to Cohen
What a catch, what a marvellous catch by Karthikeyan.
4.3 W Rudd to Qadir
Qadir misses the ball completely and it hits the pads. Big appeal and he's given! It looked like it pitched outside leg but TV replays show it pitched on leg stump. Fantastic umpiring.
4.2 W Rudd to Saich
Well caught by Macdonald.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

End of Over 5: 22-3, runrate=4.40, reqrunrate=5.91 (287-10)
Rudd 3-0-13-3
Myall* 11 (13 balls)
Black 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Cohen c. Karthikeyan b. Rudd 0 (FOW: 20/3)

Oh and they were bowled out for 287.

I need a 150 partnership between Myall and Black right here, right now. Or I'm a gonna and out of the tournament that I'm in.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAME OVER! ALL OVER! IT's ALL OVER!
MYALL HAS GONE! NO!!!!!!!!!

7.3 W Singh lali to Myall
A dive to the left with hand outstretched sees a superb catch from Macdonald in the slips.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7.4 W Singh lali to Bridges
Bridges gets himself in a complete muddle there and is trapped LBW in front of the stumps.

8.3 W Rudd to Charlton
Great delivery from Rudd, Charlton has a dash at it and finds the edge. Dropped at first slip! No! Yes! No! Chanderpaul looked to have spilled the catch, but his quick reflexes allowed him to recover and he gobbled up the crumbs after some fumbles. Out!

OMFG! NOOOO!!!!

End of Over 9: 41-6, runrate=4.56, reqrunrate=6.02 (287-10)
Rudd 5-0-28-4
Black* 5 (8 balls)
Caskey 4 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Charlton c. Chanderpaul b. Rudd 0 (FOW: 37/6)

FAR OUT! This is murder! What the hell! IMAGINE IF THIS WAS A GREEN PITCH!

9.3 W Singh lali to Longrigg
Longrigg hammers that one, but Moodley foils him and takes a great catch deep on the boundary.
9.2 W Singh lali to Caskey
Gone! Singh lali has bowled Caskey with a yorker. To top it off, Caskey's broken his bat as he slammed it into the pitch trying to keep that delivery out.

10.4 W Rudd to Handbury
I could hear that nick from up here. Xolani takes it comfortably.

:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

End of Over 11: 47-9, runrate=4.27, reqrunrate=6.18 (287-10)
Rudd 6-0-33-5
Black* 11 (11 balls)
Tahir 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Handbury c. Xolani b. Rudd 0 (FOW: 47/9)

I had my fricken batsman on Steady! What the hell! This is bull ****! I can't express my anger at the game any differently!

End of Over 12: 51-9, runrate=4.25, reqrunrate=6.24 (287-10)
Moodley 1-0-3-0
Tahir* 1 (5 balls)
Black 13 (14 balls)
Last Wicket: Handbury c. Xolani b. Rudd 0 (FOW: 47/9)

This is bull ****. Tahir can survive more than one ball when I've lost.
But can't do it when the game's on the line! I hate battrick!

And that's the end of the match. India Rules won by 236 runs.
India Rules 287-10
Gillys Demolition Team 51-10

End of Over 13: 51-10, runrate=3.92
Rudd 6-0-33-6
Black* 13 (14 balls)

12.1 W Rudd to Tahir
Tahir couldn't help but push his bat at that one and he's nicked it. Gone

I'm on my laptop now. I just smashed my computer.

Reporter's Summary
Gillys Demolition Team India Rules
Top Order: feeble feeble
Middle Order: woeful feeble
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble mediocre
Spin Bowling: woeful woeful
Fielding: woeful feeble
MOTM: Rudd

How the hell was my top order feeble?
Battrick is weird.

All I can take out of this match is that I did AMAZINGLY well to get back into the match. I did bloody awesome!

LOL gilly chill man:p ... was the team better than u?

Another cup game for me..pretty easy so farr
End of Over 5: 6-3, runrate=1.20
Masilo 3-1-4-2
Hinton* 2 (8 balls)
Singh lali 0 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Chanderpaul c. Abdul kadir b. Masilo 1 (FOW: 6/3)

Well, he's in league V in India I think. Or maybe England. That doesnt matter. The fact is he has 2 awesome bowlers. So I made the pitch hard and fast to try and conquer them. The pitch did nothing and they just went craaaaaazy!

His team name is India Rules.

yea he doesnt have a great team but his opening 2 bowlers were certainly good, and looks like thats where u lost the game...

End of Over 8: 22-3, runrate=2.75
Alshaun 4-1-9-1
Singh lali* 4 (11 balls)
Hinton 13 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Chanderpaul c. Abdul kadir b. Masilo 1 (FOW: 6/3)
The opposition are recovering, 1 more wicket to set them bak totally..lets go boys!

Well i am playing LF.. he has put me in to bat.. and my team have started off so so slowly :( This was what i didn't expect

End of Over 8: 23-0, runrate=2.88
Sadlier 4-0-9-0
Rampaul* 9 (25 balls)
Bartlett 14 (23 balls)

I want both to get out now.. They are going like a tortoise :(

His team is way better than my team. I only have 4 good players.

The rest perform when it isn't needed.

Well as i expected,
10.3 W Wingham to Rampaul
How Ingram hung onto that one, I'll never know. And he may have landed badly, there. He's limping slightly as Rampaul passes him on his slow return to the pavilion.

Too much of defensive is not good... I am badly dependent on Malik and Alshaun now.. If they fail, thats it, game is gone!
