Sinhala Ranaweera vs The Bengal Tigers

Another Bot. But i am bowling with batsmen and batting with bowlers and still winning :p

They bat first

End of Over 50: 318-8, runrate=6.36

Cash 10-1-27-7 - Deadly again

It was my turn to chase and...

1st over 20 runs!
2nd over lost a wicket,

1.4 6 Mubarak to Manning
Manning has stepped across his stumps and spooned it over the keeper's head.

Manning is a woef/abys bat

3.5 6 Mubarak to Manning
Manning hits that out of the arena! That's definitely a six.

Thats superb...

End of Over 5: 50-1, runrate=10.00, reqrunrate=5.98 (318-8)

cool

12.6 6 Dharmalingam to Manning
Straight hit and it actually lands on the rope! After a short delay, the third umpire correctly indicates six runs.

Another beast from manning

End of Over 13: 108-1, runrate=8.31, reqrunrate=5.70 (318-8)

Won my match today by 103 runs. The situation is now looking like this
Bat===awesome to beat my rival(they havew scored more than 300 all the time in da league]
bowl====not great need to improve hell lot

End of Over 40: 228-4, runrate=5.70, reqrunrate=9.10 (318-8)
Tilakarathna 10-0-79-0
Duminda* 2 (5 balls)
Cash 27 (18 balls)

I bowled using 2 batsmen, Cash and crap Murphy and Amarnath, they made 318/8

I began battign with Thomas [resp/feeb] and Manning [woeful/abys] they made 87 and 62 respectively, John made 26 [woef/med] Cash not out at 27 [woef/abys] and Duminda [resp/resp] is at 2, just came in...

Can i do it in the last 10?

41.1 4 Bulathsinghala to Duminda
Wide of off, chopped into the gap past point and over the rope for the boundary.

Starts off...

41.4 4 Bulathsinghala to Cash
Nicely picked up off the toes to a vacant square leg boundary.

But then:

41.5 W Bulathsinghala to Cash
The bowler and the crowd go wild, while Cash hangs his head in shame as the umpire raises his finger to a clear LBW.

Out at 35... Two destructive bat at crease :p Its gonna be a shower of boundaries...

They are taking only singles...

End of Over 44: 259-5, runrate=5.89, reqrunrate=10.00 (318-8)
Bulathsinghala 10-1-41-4
Wijenayake* 6 (6 balls)
Duminda 19 (17 balls)

Come on you can do it...

44.3 4 Mubarak to Wijenayake
That shot oozes class. Smashed away by Wijenayake to the cover boundary for four.

44.5 4 Mubarak to Duminda
Mubarak overpitches, low full toss, stroked firmly back down the ground on the leg side, superb timing and it teases the chaser from mid on, into the rope.
44.6 6 Mubarak to Duminda
Dropped catch in Row G of the stands. He also spilt his beer.

Thats more like it...

45.3 6 Dharmalingam to Wijenayake
Shot!

Way to go!

45.6 4 Dharmalingam to Wijenayake
Wijenayake has cracked one through the covers.

yes, yes thats how you play in a H&F pitch....

End of Over 46: 290-5, runrate=6.30, reqrunrate=7.25 (318-8)

Pulling back...

46.6 4 Mubarak to Duminda
Great timing as the ball disappears through backward point for four runs.

smack it all over the park, give me that victory...

End of Over 47: 300-5, runrate=6.38, reqrunrate=6.33 (318-8)

47.4 4 Dharmalingam to Duminda
No, no, no, no. You don't pitch it short and wide to Duminda - he'll punish you every time. An absolute rocket to the boundary.

hear hear...

End of Over 48: 309-5, runrate=6.44, reqrunrate=5.00 (318-8)

9 to win...

48.4 4 Mubarak to Duminda
Mubarak has got his hands on his hips now. There was nothing wrong with that ball, Duminda just played a super shot.

3 to win...

48.5 1 Mubarak to Duminda
That?s just nudged away for a single.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Another fifty...

48.6 2 Mubarak to Wijenayake
Beautiful cover drive. The sweeper comes round and, after a fine stop on the boundary, manages to keep it down to two.

winning runs...

And that's the end of the match. Sinhala Ranaweera won by 5 wickets.
The Bengal Tigers 318-8
Sinhala Ranaweera 319-5

WOO!! I won and i'm not down yet
How's That ? Broady
Top Order: mediocre mediocre
Middle Order: feeble feeble
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: feeble feeble
Spin Bowling: worthless feeble
Fielding: woeful abysmal
Everybody contributed with the ball, not 1 bad set of figures. Even for my new allrounder after a few pops Hockley who picked up a couple. They were all out for 170.I chased it down with 8 wickets left, Hall opening made 17. He shouldn't be opening but he has to until i find a bowler, its complicated :p Blair made 90* form is temporary, class is permant :) Thay got us home with 49*. Good win!

This is a huge game for me. Playing against top:

End of Over 40: 206-5, runrate=5.15, reqrunrate=11.90 (324-9)
Cornick 10-1-36-2
Edgerley-harris* 3 (7 balls)
Gaskin 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Appleyard b. Cornick 118 (FOW: 206/5)

Just got their best batsman out. Hopefully I can seal this.

41.2 W Walters to Edgerley-harris
Edgerley-harris goes for the sweep....... did it pitch in line? It certainly hit in line........... The umpire slowly raises his finger. He's gone!

Another wicket down. Walters and Cornick have been solid with the ball today.

41.3 W Walters to Male
41.3 W Walters to Male
Thin edge and gone. Great take by Foot, diving to his left!

Two in two. Hopefully this starts a collapse.

We can tell you that Record Breakers won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

And I lost an early wicket.

0.5 W Whitehouse to Saich
Crikey. That's a tough call! The umpire's raised his finger for a delivery that's moved back a long way. Whitehouse is smirking to himself as he turns away.

I forgot to put settings on my team.

End of Over 5: 20-1, runrate=4.00
Whitehouse 3-0-12-1
Myall* 8 (17 balls)
Bridges 10 (10 balls)
Last Wicket: Saich lbw b. Whitehouse 1 (FOW: 2/1)

dont worry gilly ur boys should be able to overcome the early loss of a wicket

End of Over 38: 165-3, runrate=4.34
Sanders 9-1-39-0
Myall* 75 (106 balls)
Riley 29 (35 balls)
Last Wicket: Vusi c. Robbins b. Broadbridge 29 (FOW: 109/3)

I'm going well. Myall as brilliant as always. Here are my past 2 wickets.

Code:
8.5 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Whitehouse to Bridges
[COLOR="Red"]Thick edge from Bridges and the ball travelled very quickly to first slip. He manages to parry it up and Richardson is alert and dives full stretch to take the catch.[/COLOR]

Code:
27.4 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Broadbridge to Vusi
[COLOR="Red"]Attempted hit over the top picks out the safe hands of Robbins at long on[/COLOR].

41.3 6 Heller to Riley
And that's lobbed to the boundary for six runs, nice shot old bean!

There we go. Needed that to boost the run rate a bit.

42.2 4 Whitehouse to Myall
A fine cover drive whistles away for four.
42.1 4 Whitehouse to Myall
That's a crackerjack stroke from Myall, rat-a-tat-tatting Whitehouse over mid-wicket for four.

Back to back fours from Myall. :)

12 came from that over.

End of Over 43: 200-3, runrate=4.65
Whitehouse 7-0-32-2
Riley* 45 (47 balls)
Myall 92 (124 balls)
Last Wicket: Vusi c. Robbins b. Broadbridge 29 (FOW: 109/3)

43.5 4 Heller to Myall
Lucky runs! Short of a good length delivery on the middle and off stump line. Myall is cramped for room but he goes for the cut. The ball clips the inside edge and races away to the vacant fine leg fence.

97 now for Myall.

44.3 4 Whitehouse to Riley
Straying on the legs, Riley flicks to the backward square leg fence, a fine shot!
And that's his fifty! Well played.

50 for Riley.

And a century for Myall! His 4th century in friendlies. 4th in a row I think.

44.6 4 Whitehouse to Myall
One man's bad luck is another man's fortune. Myall seems almost embarrassed that he got a boundary from that inside edge while Whitehouse says a few rueful words to the heavens.
And that's a century for Myall! Well played indeed Sir!

End of Over 45: 218-3, runrate=4.84
Whitehouse 8-0-42-2
Riley* 52 (51 balls)
Myall 103 (132 balls)
Last Wicket: Vusi c. Robbins b. Broadbridge 29 (FOW: 109/3)

End of Over 46: 227-3, runrate=4.93
Heller 8-0-45-0
Riley* 55 (54 balls)
Myall 109 (135 balls)
Last Wicket: Vusi c. Robbins b. Broadbridge 29 (FOW: 109/3)

9 from the over.

End of Over 47: 234-3, runrate=4.98
Whitehouse 9-0-49-2
Riley* 57 (57 balls)
Myall 114 (138 balls)
Last Wicket: Vusi c. Robbins b. Broadbridge 29 (FOW: 109/3)

7 from the next. :)

End of Over 48: 246-3, runrate=5.13
Heller 9-0-57-0
Myall* 120 (141 balls)
Riley 63 (60 balls)
Last Wicket: Vusi c. Robbins b. Broadbridge 29 (FOW: 109/3)

12 more runs from the over.

thats good hitting in the end...myall is doing really really well

Code:
49.2 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Heller to Riley
[COLOR="Red"]Riley has tried to steer the ball to third man but he has only succeeded in giving Richardson an easy catch. His overconfidence has resulted in a simple dismissal there![/COLOR]

Riley goes right at the end but played very well for his 70.

Code:
49.5 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Heller to Barraclough
[COLOR="Red"]Spectacular superman dive by the 2nd slip! The batsmen can't believe it but he's out![/COLOR]

Now Barra falls 2 balls later.

End of Over 50: 261-5, runrate=5.22
Heller 10-0-64-2
Handbury* 1 (1 balls)
Myall 126 (145 balls)
Last Wicket: Barraclough c. Robbins b. Heller 1 (FOW: 260/5)

Great stuff. I was going really slow and I'm happy with this score.

They scored 87 in the last 10 overs. Very good!

Myall...
Well. What can you say about him? He's a star!

wooohooo well done there at the end

Good job Myall

now can ur bowlers defend this?

NO!!!!!!

0.2 . Caskey to Stride
Caskey bowls a tight line and gets an inside edge straight into the ground, it bounces and clips the stumps. The wicket remains unbroken. Stride kneels and kisses the bails, how did Stride survive that?

DAMN!

BC, I hope so. I'm not playing one of my best bowlers because I forgot to do the settings on my players. So I'm playing a spinner instead of one of my best pacemen on a green pitch. :(

End of Over 1: 1-0, runrate=1.00, reqrunrate=5.33 (261-5)
Caskey 1-0-1-0
Padayachie* 1 (1 balls)
Stride 0 (5 balls)

1.3 6 Tahir to Padayachie
Going, going, gone! Out of the stadium and onto the road. Padayachie sure got a hold of that one.

Ouch.

Code:
3.1 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Tahir to Stride
[COLOR="Red"]He's gone for the big hit but has been caught on the boundary![/COLOR]

Early wicket! :happy :D

End of Over 7: 38-1, runrate=5.43, reqrunrate=5.21 (261-5)
Caskey 4-0-19-0
Padayachie* 27 (20 balls)
Carragher 6 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Stride c. Caskey b. Tahir 4 (FOW: 15/1)

Hmm...

Wouldn't mind getting Padayachie out.
