Ha ha. Good win!

I've had many collapses. A month or 2 ago, I lost 7/16 and lost the match after coasting towards victory against the top team!

We can tell you that Gillys Demolition Team won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

Tonked for 4 first ball.
0.1 4 Tahir to Frank
Lovely stuff from Frank. He came down the pitch to drive but it wasn't there. He quickly adjusted and flicked the ball fine down the leg side. Real class.

Yessss! Won the toss against the noob team. Gave Chavhanga a go at opening as I thought I would be chasing yet again. I'm expecting Chav to be out this time batting 50 overs would be amazing for him.

Very nice :)
0.5 6 Croft to Chavhanga
That's massive. Croft is getting a suntan watching the ball sail out of the ground.

End of Over 1: 10-0, runrate=10.00
Croft 1-0-10-0
Germon* 1 (2 balls)
Chavhanga 9 (4 balls)

Lisbie!

Code:
1.5 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Lisbie to Frank
[COLOR="Red"]Frank hit in front ...huge shout ... umpire's taking his time ... and he's given him. A bit of theatre by the umpire, that looked plumb to me.[/COLOR]

Great start after a long time off.

End of Over 2: 7-1, runrate=3.50
Lisbie 1-1-0-1
Morrell* 0 (2 balls)
Monkhouse 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Frank lbw b. Lisbie 7 (FOW: 7/1)

What settings did you put on him? He's bound to get a ton today.

Hes on normal.
I really am missing that good destructive batter at the top to take apart opening bowlers.

End of Over 3: 18-0, runrate=6.00
Croft 2-0-15-0
Germon* 6 (8 balls)
Chavhanga 12 (10 balls)

Code:
3.2 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Lisbie to Morrell
[COLOR="Red"]Went for the big heave-ho, but completely missed it! He hangs his head as he makes the long walk back to the pavilion.[/COLOR]

SLIBIE! Lisbie is on fire!

Expensive over there from Slibie. :p

End of Over 4: 16-2, runrate=4.00
Lisbie 2-1-9-2
Monkhouse* 4 (4 balls)
Goff 5 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Morrell b. Lisbie 0 (FOW: 8/2)

Lisbie going very nicely :)

This is more like it
3.2 3 Crossley to Germon
Great fielding by Shabangu who cuts the ball off centimetres short of the rope. The batsmen pick up three runs.
3.1 6 Crossley to Germon
Thwack! He's struck that ball on the up and it's landed 10 rows back.

End of Over 4: 29-0, runrate=7.25
Crossley 2-0-14-0
Germon* 16 (12 balls)
Chavhanga 13 (12 balls)

Welcome back Chav :)

4.6 4 Croft to Chavhanga
Timed to perfection. You don’t need to run for those.

End of Over 5: 38-0, runrate=7.60
Croft 3-0-23-0
Germon* 19 (16 balls)
Chavhanga 18 (14 balls)

This game is really going to boost my NRR :(

[COLOR="Red"]Monkhouse isn't happy with that! Clean bowled by Tahir. Just swung in and carved him up![/COLOR]

Yet another wicket! :)

Welcome back Chav :)

This game is really going to boost my NRR :(

Are you TIE every match?
Why don't you just rest all of your good players?

Another wicket.

Code:
6.5 [COLOR="Red"]W	[/COLOR]Tahir to Holsgrove
[COLOR="Red"]Holsgrove looked like he was still lining up his middle stump and didn't even see that one coming. As a result his off stump has been smashed out of the ground.[/COLOR]

End of Over 7: 31-4, runrate=4.43
Tahir 4-1-15-2
Goff* 9 (8 balls)
Cole 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Holsgrove b. Tahir 0 (FOW: 31/4)

Too easy for you Gilly :)

Another 4

And I thought I'd be challenged. As this team is 4th. Shows that my only hard matches are against the top 2. And I always lose to them.

And yet another.

Code:
7.4 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Lisbie to Goff
[COLOR="Red"]Edged and gone! A crackerjack of a delivery from Lisbie! That did just enough and Goff feathers an edge through to Bridges, who makes no mistake.[/COLOR]

Code:
10.6 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Tahir to Cole
[COLOR="Red"]Oooooh, what a catch by Vusi! It's not usual for Tahir to get a wicket like that, and Cole is angry with himself[/COLOR].

I'll probably finish them off soon.

End of Over 11: 47-6, runrate=4.27
Tahir 6-2-19-3
Mccarthy* 9 (10 balls)
Ohara 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Cole c. Vusi b. Tahir 3 (FOW: 47/6)

I do rest players just this game I wanted to see what my seam bowling rating is like at full strength. Batting I don't usually rest and I don't rest my best guys cause I want them to be at the top of the league averages list.

Very nice from Germon, he is scoring quicker and has more runs than Chav.

10.3 4 Croft to Germon
Crash! That's gone like a bullet through point, four runs.
10.5 3 Croft to Germon
Fullish and just outside the off stump. Germon drives it past the bowler and to the right of mid off. The batsmen run hard for three.

Chav wants to catch up though

11.3 6 Vaughan to Chavhanga
That wasn't very pretty, but that full toss deserved the treatment it got.

End of Over 12: 87-0, runrate=7.25
Vaughan 1-0-9-0
Germon* 43 (39 balls)
Chavhanga 41 (35 balls)

Code:
12.5 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Tahir to Ohara
[COLOR="Red"]Thick edge and... taken by Bridges. That was a great catch, Ohara just looks on in disbelief.[/COLOR]

Tahir gets his 4th and the team's 7th. They are now down and out at 7/51.

End of Over 13: 51-7, runrate=3.92
Tahir 7-3-19-4
Mccarthy* 13 (16 balls)
Conrad 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Ohara c. Bridges b. Tahir 0 (FOW: 51/7)

Syl, reckon you could crack the 400 today?

Code:
14.3 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Longrigg to Mccarthy
[COLOR="Red"]Mccarthy has gone for the big hit. There's a thick edge! Lisbie has caught it![/COLOR]

Longrigg gets his first in his first over.

Not long now.

Would hope so against a noob team but would need a lot more acceleration.
You're going to be finished very early today.

2nd 50 in a row for Germon
13.3 2 Vaughan to Germon
Cut between point and cover. The batsmen scamper through for two.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

End of Over 15: 55-8, runrate=3.67
Longrigg 1-0-3-1
Noon* 3 (2 balls)
Conrad 0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Mccarthy c. Lisbie b. Longrigg 14 (FOW: 52/8)

This should really boost my NRR which is what I want.

I've finished early my past 2 weeks. But never this early! One thing I hate though is that I have to wait until 4:30pm until I can see my players fitness etc.

Should probably have bowled Lisbie out give him every chance to get a big haul.

Germon what a star.

15.2 6 Vaughan to Germon
That sailed out of the ground. It probably found the car park, which would explain why all of the car alarms are going off!

Ouch Chavhanga out short of his 50. :( Back to number 3 for him.

16.1 W Wingham to Chavhanga
Too short to drive, and he's got a feather onto it where it flies through to Whalley for a simple catch. The umpire gives a nod of the head and Chavhanga is on his way.
