Yep thank God I didn't rest all my bowlers. Missing my star spinner which is a slight worry.

My tail is going alright though. Bit of a shame I lost Sam my last remaining guy who knows how to bat.

45.4 W Nyikadzino to Sam
Pitched on middle and leg and moved off the seam to nick off stump! Beautiful delivery!

45.6 4 Nyikadzino to Clayden
A textbook shot and it's raced past long on for four.

46.1 4 Brittain to Mohammed
Mohammed flashes at that one, and the slips watch in dismay as it scuttles to the boundary. A bit streaky that.

Your game

45.6 W Tahir to Grant
That was a textbook forward defensive shot by Grant in every way except that he missed the ball which cannoned onto his pad. Plumb.

Just needed that wicket. :)
Thanks for the updates. I'm a hope of chasing the total. But am I playing there?

Here is the details of the opening of your match

We can tell you that Green Jelly won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

Not the greatest last over from Libsie.

48.6 4 Lisbie to Mayo
Massive inside edge past the stumps for four.
48.5 4 Lisbie to Mayo
Shot! Short and given width outside off stump, Mayo stands tall and square drives on the front foot behind point, ball races away to the fence.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
48.4 1 Lisbie to Townsend
A big outside edge flies at a rate of knots over first slip's head and is fielded by third man. One is added to the total.
48.3 1 Lisbie to Mayo
Manages to give himself room, but can only mistime it to long on for a single.
48.2 1 Lisbie to Townsend
Attempted hook shot but he edges it and picks up a single.
48.1 4 Lisbie to Townsend
Short ball wide of the off stump. Townsend just leaned back onto the back foot and cut the ball past the fielder at point for a four.

End of Over 49: 254-4, runrate=5.18
Lisbie 10-0-53-1
Townsend* 11 (8 balls)
Mayo 57 (67 balls)
Last Wicket: Grant lbw b. Tahir 16 (FOW: 226/4)

My tail really has stood up here, could get 290 with a 4 but as said before will need a similar performance to last week to get home.
End of Over 49: 283-8, runrate=5.78
Brittain 10-0-63-1
Mohammed* 12 (12 balls)
Clayden 12 (14 balls)
Last Wicket: Sam b. Nyikadzino 10 (FOW: 257/8)

Well forget 290 score reamains the same as I posted after 49 overs.

49.1 W Nyikadzino to Mohammed
Out! An absolute gem of a catch. Toynbee has taken that one-handed catch inches from the ground, diving to his right-hand side in the deep point position. Mohammed is stunned.

49.4 W Nyikadzino to Hitish
Hitish charges down the pitch and attempts an ugly swipe, but misses altogether. Downey makes an easy stumping.

Great total there. I think I've done well against a team with a competent top order and feeble middle order. Just gotta beat his batting.

It's very chaseable but you're need a lot from your top order.
End of Over 50: 266-4, runrate=5.32
Tahir 10-0-58-1
Mayo* 58 (68 balls)
Townsend 22 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Grant lbw b. Tahir 16 (FOW: 226/4)
49.6 . Tahir to Townsend
Tahir throws his hands to his head, that one fizzed past the outside edge. Well bowled.
49.5 4 Tahir to Townsend
He managed to play that one past extra cover. The sweeper gets a hand to it but the ball still rolls over the rope.
49.4 1 Tahir to Mayo
Well forward and pushed out to long on.
49.3 1 Tahir to Townsend
How did he manage that? Townsend has picked out the fielder. Anywhere else and it would have been four.
49.2 4 Tahir to Townsend
He opens the shoulders and cuts the ball between gully and point.
49.1 2 Tahir to Townsend
Ball pitches a fraction short, Townsend angles the bat nicely to steer it down to third man.

Not the greatest start for you Sean

0.1 W Burgess to Saich
A simply stunning catch by Fallon. Diving low to his right, the ball fizzed through the air and into his grasp.

Nothing for me yet

End of Over 2: 8-0, runrate=4.00, reqrunrate=5.75 (283-10)
Sam 1-0-5-0
Downey* 6 (8 balls)
Oli 1 (4 balls)

Now I'm moving.

Code:
5.3 2	Sam to Charlton
Gently turned into the on side and a quickly run two.
5.2 W	Sam to Lucas
[COLOR="Red"]Went for the big heave-ho, but completely missed it! He hangs his head as he makes the long walk back to the pavilion.[/COLOR]
5.1 W	Sam to Downey
[COLOR="Red"]Oh that's magnificent! Cat-like reactions from first slip to take that catch. They'll be replaying that one a few times in the studio.[/COLOR]

Liking this start
6.5 W Hitish to Charlton
That hit the wickets so hard the bails went for four; Out!

Yep, a bad start.

What's my score now? YOu're going great. :)

Saich has a tendancy to go in the first over.

It's looking very good for you.

End of Over 17: 85-1, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=5.52 (266-4)
Hodges 4-0-17-0
Bridges* 47 (57 balls)
Myall 38 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Saich c. Fallon b. Burgess 0 (FOW: 0/1)

And my return

17.4 W Ryan to Oli
Thick inside edge onto the pads, Ryan has the cheek to appeal..... The umpire's given it! Unbelievable, he's practically middled that one! Huge show of dissent from Oli there, he'll be lucky to keep his full match fee.

End of Over 18: 80-4, runrate=4.44, reqrunrate=6.38 (283-10)
Ryan 4-0-11-1
Dowe* 1 (2 balls)
Nash 34 (41 balls)
Last Wicket: Oli lbw b. Ryan 25 (FOW: 79/4)

We can tell you that Record Breakers won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this partially cloud day

Well , i am playing today the decider of who will be promoting. If I win , i'll promote, if he wins then i have no chance absolutely. Need a wicket now.

End of Over 7: 32-0, runrate=4.57
Whitehouse 4-0-15-0
Singh lali* 11 (20 balls)
Paki 17 (23 balls)

Run rate is a good factor for you handy.

Nice 50 for Bridges he had an awesome start.
19.4 1 Fallon to Bridges
Slower delivery, guided to third man for an easy single.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

End of Over 20: 90-1, runrate=4.50, reqrunrate=5.90 (266-4)
Fallon 5-0-28-0
Bridges* 50 (69 balls)
Myall 40 (50 balls)
Last Wicket: Saich c. Fallon b. Burgess 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Not a great over from Mohammed 4 off the last ball with a number of other scoring plays earlier in the over.

End of Over 21: 94-4, runrate=4.48, reqrunrate=6.55 (283-10)
Mohammed 4-0-14-0
Nash* 36 (46 balls)
Dowe 13 (15 balls)
Last Wicket: Oli lbw b. Ryan 25 (FOW: 79/4)

:(
I'm slowing down. I think his tight bowlers are coming on.

What are the ratings of his bowlers?
