Commentary Thread

Got my desired position of chasing just have to hope my bowlers can restrict your guys and then my batters do their job.

Very good over from Clayden

End of Over 2: 9-0, runrate=4.50
Clayden 1-0-2-0
Hanson* 7 (7 balls)
Miller 1 (6 balls)

I'm playing Gamerkid today.

We can tell you that Gamer XI won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking like a road. As flat as a pancake. No help for the bowlers on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 2: 7-0, runrate=3.50
Caskey 1-1-0-0
Malik* 0 (6 balls)
Burns 2 (6 balls)

I've changed the batting order around today and the bowling order.

End of Over 3: 13-0, runrate=4.33
Hitish 2-0-11-0
Miller* 3 (8 balls)
Hanson 9 (11 balls

Going all right. My batsman will start attacking soon

End of Over 4: 15-0, runrate=3.75
Caskey 2-1-3-0
Malik* 2 (13 balls)
Burns 7 (11 balls)

Happy with the start.

Only the no balls are killing Clayden so far.

Are you boys updating over by over? Like Bing updates one over, then you update another? Who's gonna post the wickets and fours?

Lol nah that's just how it's panned out.

Poor over from Hitish.

4.4 3 Hitish to Hanson
Pierced the off side field. They'll pick up three there.
4.3 lb4 Hitish to Hanson
Off the pad, four legs byes.
4.2 . Hitish to Hanson
Full ball outside off stump, pushes it away straight to cover in defence.
4.1 4 Hitish to Hanson
Hanson uses his feet well and lofts the ball into the vacant extra cover region. Sam chases in vain as the ball skips over the rope.

End of Over 5: 26-0, runrate=5.20
Hitish 3-0-18-0
Miller* 3 (17 balls)
Hanson 16 (15 balls)

4.6 6 Longrigg to Malik
Well at that pace anything short is worthless, hit over mid wicket by Malik.

Damn, 8 from the over and the RR jumps up to 4.6
End of Over 5: 23-0, runrate=4.60
Longrigg 3-0-14-0
Burns* 8 (13 balls)
Malik 9 (17 balls)

End of Over 7: 29-0, runrate=4.14
Longrigg 4-0-18-0
Malik* 12 (25 balls)
Burns 10 (18 balls)

Might just do with a wicket. I think that if these 2 get in, it could spell trouble for me.

End of Over 7: 39-0, runrate=5.57
Hitish 4-0-24-0
Hanson* 22 (20 balls)
Miller 10 (24 balls)

Startign to rise the runrate. Boys are goin well!

End of Over 8: 34-0, runrate=4.25
Caskey 4-1-10-0
Malik* 15 (31 balls)
Burns 10 (19 balls)

Caskey bowling very well.

8.2 W Longrigg to Malik
Oh yes! Superb delivery from Longrigg, pitched outside off stump and swung in late, Malik shouldered arms and is mystified to see his off pole knocked out the ground. Quite simply an unplayable ball.

Very nice. Very nice indeed.

End of Over 9: 34-1, runrate=3.78
Longrigg 5-1-18-1
Burns* 10 (19 balls)
Carruthers 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Malik b. Longrigg 15 (FOW: 34/1)

Good opening bowling today.

Nice start Sean.

A good end to Hitish first spell only 2 off it. Clayden sadly gone the opposite after his great start.

9.5 4 Clayden to Miller
Cheeky!!! He has just helped it down the leg side and will pick up four.
End of Over 10: 56-0, runrate=5.60
Clayden 5-0-25-0
Hanson* 33 (28 balls)
Miller 16 (34 balls)

The RR has lifted a bit lately.
I got a wicket a couple of overs ago.

11.1 W Tahir to Carruthers
Tahir's bowled him! And here comes a dance! He's got great moves, but perhaps he should stick with more traditional dances before entering the national dance contest.

End of Over 14: 61-2, runrate=4.36
Tahir 2-0-7-1
Burns* 28 (40 balls)
Singh lali 2 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Carruthers b. Tahir 1 (FOW: 43/2)

End of Over 16: 79-2, runrate=4.94
Tahir 3-0-16-1
Burns* 39 (49 balls)
Singh lali 7 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Carruthers b. Tahir 1 (FOW: 43/2)

I need to get Burns out.

You're still going very nicely.

Just when I was starting to reduce the run rate Hamed total falls apart.

14 off his over :(

End of Over 18: 104-0, runrate=5.78
Hamed 4-0-25-0
Miller* 27 (59 balls)
Hanson 65 (52 balls)

End of Over 21: 128-0, runrate=6.10
Sam 1-0-9-0
Hanson* 80 (61 balls)
Miller 36 (68 balls)

Hanson is starting to smash. Hopefully he can last hte whole innings :D

Hanson is awesome just don't have the bowler to get him out. Maybe I should have chucked Chav the ball ;)

Bugger got out the slow Miller I'd rather have left him there :p

23.4 W Clayden to Miller
Miller just couldn't quite get his leg over. Out, hit wicket!

Been 3 good overs of pressure hope Sam bowls more like his 2nd over and not his 1st.

End of Over 24: 136-1, runrate=5.67
Clayden 7-0-30-1
Staveley* 1 (1 balls)
Hanson 84 (69 balls)
Last Wicket: Miller Hit Wicket b. Clayden 39 (FOW: 135/1)
