End of Over 34: 103-4, runrate=3.03
Slaytor 7-3-12-0
Beck* 42 (80 balls)
Lightbody 30 (78 balls)

Last Wicket: Beattir c. Pead b. Cronin 12 (FOW: 25/4)

4 wickets all in the first 10 overs including 2 in the very first over. Im on a TIE so this is good, would have prefered a few more wickets

End of Over 36: 106-6, runrate=2.94
Slaytor 8-3-13-2
Atkins* 1 (1 balls)
Lightbody 30 (86 balls)

Last Wicket: Rifler c. Pead b. Slaytor 0 (FOW: 105/6)

35.6 . Slaytor to Lightbody
The forward defensive. Solid defending, Lightbody protects his wicket.
35.5 . Slaytor to Lightbody
Worked to mid on and Lightbody sets off before shouting 'Wait!' and sending his partner back.
35.4 1 Slaytor to Atkins
Pushed through to the on side. The bowler chases after it for a bit but gives up and lets deepish mid on pick it up. Easy single for the batsmen.
35.3 W Slaytor to Rifler
Pead with a brilliant save, I mean catch! Well saved... err... caught, my son, well caught indeed.
35.2 . Slaytor to Rifler
That’s good cricket. A great ball, nice shot and well fielded.
35.1 W Slaytor to Beck
Beck has managed to edge that slider onto his foot, and it loops behind where Pead decides to demonstrate that his football skills are better. He juggles the ball a couple of times with his feet before finally catching it!

:D

Thought I was dead and buried when I got bowled out for 80 but I'm making a real fight of it:

End of Over 21: 66-7, runrate=3.14, reqrunrate=0.52 (80-10)
Stone 4-0-6-2
Haldane* 9 (16 balls)
Sherwood 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Geary Run Out 0 (FOW: 66/7)

Dennis made a nice solid 5 on debut!!! I put him up the order but he failed while the lower order played well

Israr Aziz - 2/39
Ryno - 1/58
Stanley - 49*(61)
John - 4/26
Murray - Didnt bat cause his opponents were bowled out for 13
Duminda - got out for 1 [playing for Briggs]

41.6 W Clarkson to Duminda
Took a risk and just threw the bat at it, but unluckily it went straight to Senadeera, who took the easiest catch in the world.

Whittingham - didnt bowl, opposition bowled out for 16
Wijenayake - didnt get to bat
Cash - didnt play [ how unfair ]
Dharmasena - 51 not out [ skipper again ]
Murphy - 115  [ skipper as well ] 0/59
Illanganage - 2/14

Much better performances...

Thank you Jaztheman

Do you recommend playing Eli every other week in league matches, Zorax?

Only play him if he is at above Lively fitness. No point if he isn't, it'll just drain him more and his performance will suck.

Nice move by Angy got me batting first, can't see my bowlers defending anything under 300.
Good first over

End of Over 1: 7-0, runrate=7.00
Moodley 1-0-7-0
Ray* 4 (3 balls)
Masibulele 3 (3 balls)

Quite a few 4s being hit lately, first it was Moodley getting the bash then I finally managed to get to Miah.

12.2 6 Moodley to Ray
An unsuspecting old club member gets a helping of cricket ball with his cucumber sandwiches as Ray launches a mammoth six into the stands.

13.1 4 Miah to Ray
Bowling lesson number 72: If you bowl there, you will be punished. Four to add to the total.
13.4 4 Miah to Masibulele
Lovely timing, just pushed through the line and it's raced back past Miah for four.

14.1 6 Mametsa to Ray
Six. He freed his arms and lofted ball over the bowler's head for a massive six.

Angy star bowler on, hopefully I can do what Aus do to Murali and take him for 0/30 from his 10.

Well played Ray

15.2 1 Cable to Ray
Runs it into the gap and calls him through for a sharp single.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

End of Over 16: 96-0, runrate=6.00
Cable 1-0-2-0
Masibulele* 45 (43 balls)
Ray 50 (54 balls)

Well as expected Cable has turned this match.

17.3 W Cable to Ray
Gotcha! Round the wicket and the ball pitches on middle and turns away. Ray tries to drive through the on side but can't account for the spin after the ball grips the surface. Loud appeal and the umpire raises his finger.

Only thing Chav was able to do this match
17.4 6 Cable to Chavhanga
That ball will come down with snow on it!

19.4 W Cable to Chavhanga
Oh how unlucky can you get? The ball ricocheted off his partner's bat and looped up for an easy catch for Way.

19.6 W Cable to Quintus
Through the gate went the ball, and to the pavilion went Quintus. A great wicket taking delivery!

End of Over 20: 108-3, runrate=5.40
Cable 3-0-10-3
Masibulele* 49 (53 balls)
Germon 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Quintus b. Cable 0 (FOW: 108/3)

Wow, a bit of a collapse there Syl. Didn't need Chav to fall.
Atleast Masi is still there.

Syl, if you get around 220, i feel it should be a match winning score. :) And i can see it happening at ease unless a poor collapse occurs.

Well, had to wait till 10.30(BT time) for my match in England to begin against Joe

Masi really slow down late so not surprised he lost his wicket.

33.3 W Sheppard to Masibulele
Stick a fork in Masibulele - he's done! Clean bowled!

Good 50 for Germon

35.2 3 Miah to Germon
Short and wide outside off stump. Germon cuts well to the deep cover region but Barton dives and just pulls it in. One run saved.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

I expect the BT collapse to happen especially with Cable having 5 more overs.

End of Over 37: 177-4, runrate=4.78
Moodley 9-0-58-0
Germon* 55 (59 balls)
Steele 1 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele b. Sheppard 61 (FOW: 164/4)

Smart play, start smashing before Cable comes on to finish the inns.

37.2 4 Miah to Germon
Short, rising ball with some width outside off stump. Germon frees the arms and purposefully uppercuts, slashing it high over backward point and down to the boundary.

Wow go Steele

38.1 6 Moodley to Steele
Moodley should pray for rain. Smashed for 6!!

38.2 6 Moodley to Steele
Wow! One wonders what the ball did to offend Steele, he smacked that with aggression and it ripped through the air for six.

End of Over 39: 201-4, runrate=5.15
Moodley 10-0-76-0
Steele* 17 (15 balls)
Germon 62 (65 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele b. Sheppard 61 (FOW: 164/4)

Yep told you Cable would clean up my tail.

42.4 W Cable to Mohammed
Was it the googly? Judging by the re-arrangement of the stumps I would suggest that Mohammed would be guessing at the answer.
42.3 W Cable to Clayden
Clayden looks like he's had a few too many sandwiches there. He was never going to get to the non-striker's end before the bails flew off.
42.2 W Cable to Hamed
Brilliant bowling. Clean through and out.
42.1 W Cable to Sam
Turns, inside edge onto the pad and then onto the stumps. A well deserved wicket for Cable.

Oh thought Cable had a hattrick but 3rd one was a run out.

Time to promote Hitish first scoring 2 runs against Cable and now this
43.3 6 Sheppard to Hitish
Oh that's headed for outer space! Look out Apollo XI there's a cricket ball headed your way. Six runs!
