Could someone please update me with my match? I'm at school and BT is blocked. Thanks.

Team: Gillys Demolition Team

@Gilly

Rijumdogs Rijumis won the toss and elected to bat.

167-7 (37 ovrs)

edit: 167-8 (38)

Thanks, Arun. Who have taken my wickets?

193-10 (44 ovrs)

Tahir 10-2-32-3
Longrigg 7-0-24-2
Caskey 9-0-50-2

20-0 (4 ovrs)

A pretty good performance by your bowlers on a flat pitch ;).

Unfortunately, I won't be able to give any more updates after this because I will be asleep.

I won the toss and bowled first. Just as I had hoped for
First 20 overs
End of Over 20: 157-0, runrate=7.85
Noble 10-0-76-0
Mckinley* 53 (55 balls)
Whaley 99 (66 balls)

And now the wickets.

24.5 W Mohammed to Whaley
I think everybody heard that nick to Ray. Whaley didn't even wait around for the umpire to raise his finger.

25.6 W Hamed to Miller
Miller misses the ball completely and it hits the pads. Big appeal and he's given! It looked like it pitched outside leg but TV replays show it pitched on leg stump. Fantastic umpiring.

32.2 W Hitish to Mckinley
A short ball from Hitish, which Mckinley top edges high into the air. Shorey sets himself under it and completes a routine catch, although the array of coloured clothing in the crowd probably made that more difficult than it looked.
32.4 W Hitish to Marriott
Marriott never saw that one coming!
35.4 W Hitish to Sterling
Sam's caught him. Great fielding.

43.6 W Hamed to Rudi
And he's got him! What a marvellous catch! Rudi got a little inside edge onto the pad, it popped up and Chavhanga has hurled himself to his left and taken a blinder!

45.6 W Hamed to Wynne-willson
A ripper!! Through the gate and knocked middle stump to 45 degrees. Great bowling by Hamed.

46.4 W Hitish to Aldridge
He's out! That was a disgraceful shot. It was a wide ball and he's had a little dabble and gifted Ray a catch.

48.1 W Hitish to Jegaruban
Sam's caught him. Great fielding.

48.6 W Hitish to Oakes
Oakes has gone for the big hit. There's a thick edge! Mohammed has caught it!

End of Over 49: 281-10, runrate=5.73
Hitish 10-2-29-6
Nugent* 2 (5 balls)

My batting is a lot weaker today so should be interesting seeing if I can chase this down.

Syl, could you please tell me my score? And the scorecard? Thanks. :)

Edit: Don't worry, someone told me I won.

Wow, what a win! Great century from Myall. He really is a star. Now his 5th century this season, along with 1 50. Robinson continues to impress.

Edit: Wow, 5 sixes! Amazing!!

Hmmm wasn't expecting to be 5 down so early, probably should have gone with a full strength batting seeing as 280 would have taken a while for me to get.

Liddle has been my rock very quick start but starting to slow down.

17.3 3 Oakes to Liddle
'Run Forrest... Run!' chant the crowd as Mckinley sprints after the ball following a glorious stroke from Liddle.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Chav doing what he does best even batting at 7.

26.5 4 Wynne-willson to Chavhanga
Wynne-willson tried to fool Chavhanga with a slower ball, but he telegraphed it! Chavhanga knocked it over the rope on one hop.
27.5 4 Nugent to Chavhanga
Full ball on off stump which is driven away on the up for four.

29.2 4 Nugent to Chavhanga
Exquisite on drive for four. Impeccable timing and placement.

31.3 4 Oakes to Chavhanga
Back to the drawing board for Oakes.

End of Over 33: 191-5, runrate=5.79, reqrunrate=5.35 (281-10)
Whaley 7-2-23-0
Chavhanga* 37 (29 balls)
Liddle 82 (96 balls)
Last Wicket: Shorey c. Miller b. Wynne-willson 0 (FOW: 132/5)

Liddle approaching his maiden 100, hopefully Chav can hog the strike as can't see Liddle lasting too long.

End of Over 38: 215-5, runrate=5.66, reqrunrate=5.58 (281-10)
Oakes 9-0-41-1
Liddle* 95 (110 balls)
Chavhanga 48 (45 balls)
Last Wicket: Shorey c. Miller b. Wynne-willson 0 (FOW: 132/5)

Here you go Sean

End of Over 32: 126-3, runrate=3.94
Alshaun 4-0-8-0
Tau* 0 (3 balls)
Padayachie 28 (50 balls)

I need wikcets :( only my debutant got 2 wickets today, others are going crap

Poor Chav moved him from number 3 when he could have made another 100.

39.1 2 Oakes to Chavhanga
That was a terrible throw by Jegaruban, and the batsmen decide to run another. Two runs.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Bad luck to Liddle only 1 run from batting the whole inns.

47.5 W Wynne-willson to Liddle
It ain't over till the fat lady sings. Unfortunately for Liddle, she's just sung a whole Puccini aria. Clean bowled. Arrivederci!

Won a bit too quick for my liking will have to see how this 2 over win affects my NRR.
And that's the end of the match. Baggy Blues won by 4 wickets.
Venus Bay CC 281-10
Baggy Blues 282-6

End of Over 48: 282-6, runrate=5.88
Wynne-willson 9-0-65-4
Hamed* 1 (1 balls)
Chavhanga 84 (72 balls)
