Cricket 19 General Discussion

I also agree not holding back, but I think for those few people out there who don’t have access to download the demo or come on a forum like this, it could be seen as a misstep by BA. Atleast a misstep not to release some pre release gameplay Eng vs Aus etc. I personally have no issue with not seeing a trailer as I love seeing all the academy videos and stuff gets me hyped, as I sure it does for most people on here. However for those who don’t care for all that stuff and just want to play the game or see gameplay, could be annoying to have to wait for something.
What I would love to see is a good promo video featuring Mikey and Ross talking all about it, that usually gets me up and about lol.. But big ant know what there doing so we just leave all the promotional stuff up to them.
I just feel they're waiting for a good time to release it, though it's late going by there old promotion strategies, I think they fully know what they're doing.
Also, I feel if they've taken this approach, it could work as a trailer when the game is nearly in hand is not a bad idea. Unorthodox, but still good.

I agree it is abit late by there usual stuff but. I wouldn’t be surprised if over in England it’s promoted more heavily with posters in game stores and stuff because it is getting into there Cricket season and the World Cup coming up. But big ant themselves haven’t been overly on the offensive, promoting this to the death at this stage which I think is alright (there’s enough hype in there teaser lol) and I also think enough people would know now that BA are the guys that make the cricket games and that one would be coming out soon, so I doubt it would slow down the hype too much.

I agree but thats just for pc.. there are alot of console players who play big ant cricket games.

I am a console player and don't mind there not being a trailer but the demo on PC. The academy demo that has been release so people can start creating is easier and generally better quality made on PC anyway. Plus, remember the PC release is after the console release of the full game. Personally I think it is fair that the demo is only PC.

Just recently saw a few gameplay videos of Cricket 19 and got to say, I am very very impressed. Almost every English and Australian player seem to have their own realistic batting styles as well as bowling styles (albeit the bowling styles being fairly subtle differences that many may not pick up). The generic batting and bowling style for all players in previous iterations has always been a qualm of mine and broke the immersion for me, so this change is really exciting to see :)

Looks like there is Sponsorships to be earned apart from perks in Career mode.

Players look better but some of the stadium/texture work is shoddy at best. They've really not improved those over the years. The pitch in the demo is just a big blurry mess.
Players in the demo are looking amazing but pitches visuality is blurry and lacking clarity. There is no difference between grass and hard pitch visually. Hope it is improved in full game.

It definitely is blurry. Hope it's just the demo and gets updated in the final version.

can anyone help me with UV face mapping if i send u high res photos of mine , do we need L.side , front and R.side pics or only front ??[DOUBLEPOST=1557646012][/DOUBLEPOST]Sample PDF file shows 3 side face pics required in MESH , and without MESH it asks for front only ... im confused .. any video tutorial on playface making steps ??

Wait, what? I didn't see that.
Yeah it looked new for me as well. I guess it refers to addition of new bats and kits (after completing certain milestones) to choose from in the appearance-Equipment section. Anything else apart from that would make the game even more immersive in Career mode.

Just noticed not sure if it was mentioned before but you can change the boundary size not sure if that was in ashes cricket in the stadium creator
