And I know there are lots of sliders that can be tweaked but I can't be arsed.

In the ideal world the sliders are there to tweak personal preferences rather than using to have to chase the dragon. Unfortunately.......

Bowling round the wicket. Bowled 12 leg side wides.

I'm guessing they were meant to turn back in. But they all went gun barrel straight

clearly they forgot to put something back to how it was when they made the patch hopefully its resolved sooner rather than later.If i am captain and win the toss i always bowl first.The al is capable of chasing anything down at any given point .I feel more in control batting last.

Get spin back, get ring/outfield catches back, get ball wear back, sort out AI 4th inns.

I agree that fixing these would be great (and I'm sure they will fix spin pretty quickly, based on how they have responded in the past) but I would also add to this list:

• Introduce caught and bowled for spinners as a means of dismissal (I've played over 100 hours of career mode bowling leg spin and not even seen a chance of this...I don't know if this occurs more frequently with pace bowling)
• Allow the bowler to field the ball rather than stand next to it and wait for someone to run in from mid-off to pick it up as the batters take a single (basically remove the bowler freezing after delivery)
• Introduce the ability, when fielding, to stop balls crossing the boundary through sliding to attempt to get to the ball
• Introduce stumping as means of dismissal for spin bowling (the only way that this can happen is if a batter misses a slog sweep and, in over 100 hours, I have only seen this twice. Why do batters never advance down the pitch to spinners?).
• Position the keeper correctly to affect a run out (at the moment the keeper stands too far from the stumps and is terribly slow in taking the bails off)

I doubt much of this will happen but it is disappointing that two not uncommon means of dismissal for spinners are missing.

The game definitely needs all of these. But if only they fix them, and fix them without breaking something else, then that would be great. It's good though that at least they're patching the game.

Is there any workaround for AI not changing fields during the over? Is this a known issue that hopefully might get patched?

Had a couple in career mode with my spinner. Actually took my career best of 5/28 just after the patch. Think it’s because the AI expects the ball to turn but due to the no turn bug the ball just goes straight.

I am facing an issue. While pre-determining the shot direction the batsman moves extreme left or right.Then it is difficult to move the batsman to original position.how to solve it?

I've faced this same issue, although it only happens sometimes, and seems to affect only one batsman per innings. In the very next innings, the same batsman won't have this problem. Reloading does not help. The only good thing is that it does not happen in every match.

Yes, even I could take at least 3-5 wickets every match in career mode. Moreover, most of the wickets are either bowled or lbw. The reason is ball does not turn and goes straight.

Game was really good before this patch, there should have been an option to go back to previous versions. Bring the previous version back and forget about the game. Work on your next title

Having a much better time playing Ashes Cricket at the moment.

Have Bangladesh 170 all out on a slow dry surface in an ODI. The ball is wearing, there are a few little omelettes on the pitch.

No two dismissals the same, an outfield lofted catch, a steer to backward point, some LBWds and bowleds. Mentalities seemed to be there, Tamim off to a flyer but the Bangladesh middle order were more circumspect.

Just had Finch mistime a pull and top edge one to the keeper, lobbed up.

A couple of bat pads and slip catches. All going on.

For all the bells and whistles in cricket 19 it seems very boring compared to Ashes.

Were super human 4th innings chases present in Ashes Cricket? That could be a game breaker for me @blockerdave

And how long do they spend playtesting the patches? (As you can't revert them, so it does change the game). Is it 30 seconds or 40 seconds?

Yeah am surprised, no spin is an obvious bug and can be ascertained playing just one over. Seems like there was no testing

I agree, even though there were certain bugs but still we were quite 'Happy' overall before this patch. I think irrespective on how good the new patch 'would be or would be not', there should always be a option to roll back to previous versions. This will help us to play until the game blockers gets fixed.
@MattW if you see the possibilities, I think vendors also have part in this!
