Cricket 19 General Discussion

Hi to all. Am facing an issue with Ai pacing.also now Ai aggressive reduced a bit. Specially on leg side.
Ai cant hit long sixes. Only they hit in straight

Match difficulty -Legend.

Say some suggestions to tweak for Realistic AI

Max power and put the effort perks are too overpowered should be looked into or removed as already game is not easy to bat now.
As it delivers bullet pace.
I also feel perks should be totally disabled for online games.

That's nonsense. There should be even more BOWLING related perks, because there's not enough of those.

Batting is extremely easy, even on the hardest difficulties.. and especially online.

Bowling on the other hand, is still quite hard. Not as rewarding. Unless the batsman is horrible quality

Bullet pace deliveries are easier to hit, than a slower delivery. Especially a slow bouncer. If you are having trouble batting, then that's on you mate. Practice, Practice, and practice. Only then you'll stop being shit. No point in complaining about the perks

'Max Power' Perk is quite perfect, because it takes away a lot of the Accuracy, and Gives more Pace. 'Precision Tooling' is the opposite. It takes away a lot of the Pace, and gives huge boost to accuracy and Yorkers.

These are the most perfectly balanced Perks, that makes the game fun. Unless a player in this game is a Pure batsman or bowler, they won't have maxed out batting or bowling skill slots. So these perks just makes different players... BETTER. Lots of room to create an unique player

I basically treat the 5 blocks as being:

block 1 - awful
block 2 - minimal competency
block 3 - decent pro
block 4 - international
block 5 - world class

then add what i think are suitable perks.

aside from the bouncer shit with the AI gifting wides, the gameplay is pretty top notch, I don't even look at the overall ratings

Block 4 - World Class

Block 5 - Master or Legendary batsman/bowler

Otherwise, it's a bit unbalanced.. Since the "blocks" are completely ROLE dependent, but in game.. PERKS changes everything. They matter much more

Even if you are at Block 4, some of the silver and gold perks does kind of take you even beyond 5 blocks.. in game. Just performance and capability-wise

AI batsmen struggle against spinners (Legend, Bowling: Hardest) is something I have observed for a long time now. Just for fun kept on bowling random batting all rounders and even part timers in a T20 match vs NZ on a green track. Bowled 15 overs for 71 runs and took 5 wickets in those spinners overs. Did nothing exceptional but just kept on bowling on and outside off and fuller length (Yellow) deliveries more often that not. AI batsmen keep on edging most of the times and couldnt really play big strokes to up the run rate much as well. Unfortunately it really takes the fun out of game knowing the AI struggle against spinners as its a pretty common occurrence.

Not sure if there is any slider which can help with that or will have to wait for the developers will have to fix this bug.

Lets have a online game mate want to learn from you how you bat.
Hope you can cross 80 in a t20 hard mode.

Easy to bat you mean with classic or standard controls(footwork assist auto).

Easy to bat in any level you said you talking about 50 ,92 or 100 skilled fast bowlers.

Batsmen should have to wear helmets. Yeah a spinner won’t whack u on the head at pace but I always think what if the helmetless batsman is diving for a run and the fielder pings the ball at the stumps at pace and it connects with their head?!

It’s like batsman chewing gum when batting. What if they get smacked in the face and it’s gets stuck in the throat.

Batsmen chewing gum and sticking it on their bat handle if they’re not out at night... can we have that in the game?

Batting without helmet gives the batsman far more room to do their thing.. with more comfort. No one likes helmet. And most of the big name players still don't wear helmets against spinners. Helmets also make players more complacent, and they tend to rely less on technique and hand-eye coordination.

Modern generation overthinks too much. That's why most people of this era are SOFT. It is what it is

The problem is, you are literally talking about "what could happen". No one even asked that question decades ago, when Helmets was not even a thing. NOTHING ever happened. But Phil Hughes definitely was wearing a modern helmet with all kinds of protections. What happened?

That's the exact same ANOMALY, as to your point of "what if the helmetless batsman is diving for a run and the fielder pings the ball at the stumps at pace and it connects with their head?!" ..

At the end of the day, no one can think about anomalies.. And no one will definitely wear a ****in armor just to avoid any anomalies. Helmets are also NOT mandatory. Maybe only for the England cricket team.

In Cricket 19, there's an option to wear a hat or anything else.. instead of a helmet. But if there was an option in the men to take OFF the helmet anytime you want, then put it back on.. That'd be more REALISTIC. That's all
