I think it is because we are viewing from a Non-US Time Zone! That is because, if you see the URL, it says may-28-2019

Anyone had this? Timing a straight drive, only for the bowler to catch it. Happened twice now.

Full toss - good timing but back at the bowler.

Wouldn’t say there was toooo much wrong with it. It’s aerial due to the full toss. I’d just say unlucky haha

For Xbox, it doesn't seem like it's 12:01 am for respective regions. New Zealand release shows it up as "Available on May 27, 2019, 5:30 PM", which means it's already released there (and Australia as well)? India is definitely tonight at midnight.

Got all the way through the session without losing a wicket... thanks to putting the AI down to veteran from legend!!

Was great... few niggles:

1. I know it's being worked on but the AI fields i think are the main bum note... the fields themselves are better than ashes i think but there's a lot of changes, rather than feeling the AI has a plan
2. Related to this, the AI seemed to set fields according to the batsman/partnership, rather than the match scenario.
3. Issue with bowler mentalities - Pollock (balanced) and Pringle (conservative) were banging it in whereas Donald (Aggressive) was pitching it up... Pollock also spraying it around despite high accuracy stats and perks

The general gameplay is tremendous. The presentational flourishes are so immersive... it's head and shoulders above the other games right now. Let's just get that AI![DOUBLEPOST=1558946652][/DOUBLEPOST]

I am a bit hesitant to comment as I don't have the game yet (waiting on, but grateful for, the eventual Steam release) but this game does look like a major step up from previous releases in pretty much every respect. One minor thing I noticed in your video that I think is also part of tweaking the AI, rather than fixing anything that is broken, is the use of the new ball in Test cricket. It would be nice if the AI rested its new-ball bowlers prior to taking the new ball, so that they were ready. I noticed that Eksteen continued with the new ball, which seemed a little unlikely. Previous games also continued bowling spells across breaks and days (e.g. if you were bowling at the end of the day, you would be bowling the opening spell in the morning) rather than session-start and new-ball bowler selection being more related to the role the bowler has in the squad or the success they were having in that particular match.

Ok I think I am wrong. It will be 12 am for 28th in NZ when it's still 5:30 pm in India on 27th. My bad. It's 12:00 am per your timezone on Xbox.

Nah, it's bollocks. Makes a mockery of the whole timing mechanics. If I time a grounded shot, it should not be caught.

And also, it isn't a full-toss.

It isn't a full-toss. And it is happening too often.

Amazon will start shipping on 28th. They do this with all preorders. I have never received anything on release day from them. Better to go digital (most of the times cheaper as well).
