Hi, anyone struggling with two issues:

1. Apply to All not working while setting fields; i have to manually set fields for each bowler.
2. Next bowler selection in Test Matches sometimes doesn't work. I am playing an Eng Vs Aus match and the selection defaults back to Broad (from my selection of Woakes).

Both of these issues are on vanilla C19.

Hi so, adding to my *unable to comprehend how Batting AI works* woes:

As I mentioned earlier, this trend of 3-4 runs an over is going on and on no matter how good I am bowling. While wickets are periodically tumbling and yes now sometimes I do feel I have unsettled a batsmen, only to realize it's last bowl of the over and the A.I hasn't scored any runs. Come last bowl and boom! goes for 4 or a good shot and A.I takes a 3.

More to it, the A.I seems to be playing some unseemingly cover drives, both at the front and the back foot. An in-cutter to the left hander? no problem, it would magically float its footwork to adjust to the line of the bowl to dispatch it for four.

One of the other examples for which I am attaching a screenie below, is of backfoot drive to the covers. The A.I, while doesn't need to magically float its feet, I am just at loss as to how a bowl going to middle and drifting (abit) towards leg can be played like this:



tbh even Sachin can't play that shot:P

Just wondering how you guys skill players? Because I'm hearing they're all overskilled. Is there a system? E.g. player who averages 50+ is rated 90, player who averages 40+ is rated 85.

Did difficulty change in setting effect AI vs Ai

I PLAYED WITH HIGH RATED PLAYERS
Me india ai aus test match first 50 overs they scored 2.5 run per over i got 5 wks before they get 100 other side watson batted well and warne too after they scored 30 plus they scored quick so end of the innings they got runrate 3 run per over

ai setting :strike rate 30-wicket chance 60-bowl quality 60-score rate-15

but i am batted well ai bowled well with bowl quality -60 only 50 i scored by dhoni

Yes this is correct for each bowler you must APPLY to ALL (Batsmen) currently at the wicket, so if you take a wicket the field could change again for that batsman, and if you change bowler, the field may change for that bowler u will have to apply to all again. this is normal behaviour.

The next bowler thing is confusing. when are you selecting the next bowler.. at the beginning you select bowler 1 and bowler 2, that will be in order, later the 1 and 2 gets confusing, im never sure when to pick 1 or 2 after the initial pick.... best is to pick your next bowler while the current bowler is busy with his over using (is it up on d-pad?) then scrolling through the names and go out of that menu, if you use the triangle (ps4) to get to the full menu of names, thats when it gets rather confusing as to which bowler is actually next.. You can also select a bowler before he has started his over, then it will change to the one you want immediately.

tbh even Sachin can't play that shot:P

It comes down to allocating proper shots to AI which hasnt been done properly IMO.. But good to see someone finding it weird when AI plays such shots..

Guys, whats the right area to post about some videos I'm/my club are doing?

In these dodgy times, we're creating teams on Cricket 19 and live streaming (then doing match highlights) of our league games for one of our 3 Saturday teams.

Any feedback would be appreciated! Its hard without real cricket, but this is really helping us as a club stay together and motivated!

I'd really like feedback about logos and stuff as thats the real thing we've struggled with, everything else is working ok.

Hey Guys, am facing a very peculiar issue with online multiplayer matches. I am not able to play the match that I create, e.g. I created a one day match with my friend for an online match but it it's turned out to be a five overs game. I created over matches but they all turned out to be a five overs game. I Don't know if it's a bug or some technical problem. Anyone else facing this same problem?

fielding ratings, specifically catching and reflex catching, and probably positional/general too. I doubt they need to be maxed out. What levels are the players you're using now?

There are also perks to improve catching too

I'm using wasteyouryouth's players.

I don't really have a system.

I download Wasteyouryouth's teams. If they are an off spinner who can't bowl a doosra I cut their special ball skill.

I generally reduce the amount perks unless they are really famous for something. Anderson, Boult and Southee can be swing kings, Smith, Williamson are batting masters, that kind of thing.

There is any option to use more bats without deleting bats in game because current player and retro players using diffierent bats and ipl too so there is no space in game any chance add bats manualy in game more bats by any tool like EA cricket 07?

Did anyone notice that AI still blocks the very last ball of an anning? Playing T20 on Normal Difficulty.Shouldn't AI play mad on Free Hits too?
