Could you please tell me what all changes you made?
I raise the visual speed, up to where I can't play every shot ideal or good... Shot, foot and aggressive difficulty higher up to your liking, pitch bounce to 60 and pace bounce length reduced... Max bowl speed to 65...

the batting sound effect is broken with last 2 xbox patches . anyone notice this ?
 
Does anyone know the save file location for Cricket 22 on steam?
 
Backfoot square cut getting replaced by late cut is the biggest deal breaker for me.

The basic requirement of a cricket game is not met if the AI chooses to play a totally different shot than the one the user has chosen.

Imagine grinding on the hardest difficulty and facing a genuine quick, you somehow manage to pick up the length quickly and look to cut it but the output is something so absurd it puts you off and makes you want to just rage quit the game.

I'm not even sure if they have acknowledged this bug anywhere.

Something really wrong with the game. Been playing in South Africa with rumples SA sliders and reskilled teams as well. It's a test match. Pak VS Ind.
The AI is 125 of 26 overs. No wicket has fallen. And they are literally slogging it. No ground shots or drives. But slogging it. What the hell?
I made every player balanced and reduced their attacking shots to 10 still no good for SAF . They still smack boundary every over and this stupid weird steer to slips every second ball on length is so frustrating.

I am over these ridiculous shots of edge going to boundary in covers where as the animation is a cover drive. Boundaries every over seriously is killing it.

You need to turn off the pitch marker length display in the settings but they never fixed the issue you've just highlighted in C19 on the Xbox & C22 on the Xbox also has the same bug too that they still haven't fixed. (I posted this specific issue to the bug tracker thread for Xbox earlier.)

The generic black & white bowling & pitch markers seem to be working as intended with the PS5 too, however, can't say for sure if it's broken on the PS4 or PC as well??

I've always wanted it on the Xbox but they couldn't find the required code or settings to fix it in C19.
Thanks, I’m on PS4, what I’ve done is change the pitch indicator colours all to black , I now just have to play on length and line rather than colour recognition and it much tougher and more fun in my opinion, properly playing ball on its merits
 
The one question I want to ask and I have not seen asked or answered is; are Big ant studios actually upto capacity staff wise? Meaning are they still under restrictions from the effects of covid 19? Are the staff team working at home with limited cross staff time and interaction. I strongly feel this will inhibit any current development and problem solving capacity for this game?

Stating the bloody obvious and looking at the bigger picture we just need to be patient with this development process to rectify bugs and glitches (sorry if this has been said before but I feel it is a valid point).

Good idea as a workaround but BA really should have fixed this back in C19, let alone copying it over to C22.

The bowling remains an absolute bloody joke & how anyone at BA can deem it acceptable is another unknown?

My main career is a batting all-rounder but the game scripting insists on making me bowl 20+ overs per innings for first class/test EVERY TIME, (usually without any wickets to show for it at all). If I choose a batting all-rounder then I expect to bowl part time, not have scripting that primary schoolers could have written treat me the same as all front line bowlers. It makes me bowl all 10 overs in list A/ODI , & always all 4 overs in T20. Worse still, I'm seeing run rates of 12 per over one minute in tests, then it'll script in 2 or 3 maidens, then just take it all back again by increasing the run rate back up to over 14+ for another three or four overs, & round & round that cycle goes with the demoralisation deepening with each over.

Getting wickets is just random & there's no rhyme or reason. None of my career attributes help at all, my confidence or stamina, batter confidence or stamina, bowling to a batters weaknesses & my strengths, my perks, doing 5 gym training sessions between EVERY match, NONE of it is functional or makes any difference.

This is just something else with the career mode BA didn't have ready & they still haven't got it all working yet as none of it actively changes anything.

The career mode is just a broken dysfunctional mess.

Something has also been broken even worse with the bowling in the last 2 patches as well as I literally haven't had one wicket since. Before then, I did at least manage to pick up the odd one or two but even then it was a disheartening, frustrating chore that I'm now beginning to dread at the start of every innings. They've sucked every last bit of enjoyment out.

What's the point in simming al my bowlers innings (that's what BA are driving me towards)?? I might as well just go with a specialist batter & be completely bored with a bland, generic, badly scripted mess within 2 weeks. Top job!!
 
So still playing that match with SA sliders and with reskilled teams.
On a pitch that should help bowling Ind is 428 for 8. 7 bowled dismissals. And just one edged to the keeper.
Also overall I saw I think 3 proper edges that flew away for 4. There were lots of play and misses but no edges.
Besides this the bound of this grassy dry hard pitch is too low. Even though I changed the pitch bounce to 50. It's behaving like a medium pitch.
I guess after the patch the bounce has been reduced for all pitches. Also edges weren't seen. And the AI isn't playing according to the conditions. They played like it was a batting paradise. And just bowled dismissals.
