Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Honestly, if it didn't say Cricket 24 every time to hit a boundary - I would not believe this is a new game. There just doesn't seem to be enough to warrant me buying it at this moment (especially for £50).

I'll see if anyone else buys it tomorrow and see an improvement in the gameplay otherwise might have to be a miss for me.

Spiderman 2 is coming out in like 10 days and might just move on to that for the time being.

IMO & in my case, its time to cut the cord. I do not think the game will improve overnight. In a way, BA has done me (and perhaps some others as well) a favour. With games like Assassin's Creed Mirage, Lords of the Fallen, Spider-Man 2, and Alan Wake 2 coming up in matter of days I can spend my hard earned money on one of these games and actually be satisfied.

It's supposed to be a lot closer to the original games. Much smaller so very unlike Valhalla

Seems like they have focussed on areas...which isn't of interest to most of us out here :P

From what I heard the game was originally planned as a DLC for Valhalla (hence Basim being the protagonist) but they decided to make it a standalone game focusing on the spirit of the original games due to the growing clamour for the same. Reviews seem to indicate that the game is solid but lacks the finer quality you’d expect from a big developer.

Common dude. Don't take this personally. My real point was rather than focusing on licensing teams it would have been wiser to make gameplay improvements which matters most.
The irony of license teams is that half of the players are well Photogrammetry and rest isn't which makes it even worse and we fall back on Academy creations which are much much better anyways...that's been a story so far !!
