Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Hair/beard variety and physics look much better than in previous games :Claping: Not familiar with the AFL games so can't really say much.

Would love to see gameplay from a closer camera though. Loving the shine on the skin as well.. Good old Pro Evo Soccer vibes.

Thanks for showing the MCG too finally some Cricket 24 footage :lol

AFL23 gameplay is unreal from what the leaked video shows. The grass texture, ball physics seems beautiful

Few things that I have noticed that needs improvement in cricket 24 are
1) Blur effects seems missing or not as good
2) a frame where a player kicks the ball and subsequently celebration animation is enabled, there is an apparent clunkiness, now switch from one animation to another happens a lot more in cricket games in comparison to AFL games, so this aspect needs improvement
3) graphics don't look as crisp in shade (more effects needed, image attached for reference)
4) more facial expressions needed (both for players and crowd)
5) crowd in absence of blur effect is not looking as good and the animations in the crowd are looking repetitive within a single frame ( the crowd needs to look towards the action near the boundary rope however in the leaked AFL footage, the crowd is looking absolutely straight despite the fact that the ball is just diagonally next to them)
6) Jersey physics are missing
7) more props in the crowd needed

Has Australia not updated their coins, like the UK, to have Alan Partridge on?

Looking at the AFL 23 footage, one thing that is very noticeable is lack of crowd animations..it needs a major overhaul for cricket 24 as there seems to be only 2-3 animations for the crowd and all of which are co-occuring similar to ashes cricket 2017 and cricket 19..there needs to be more animations... attaching few images from the aforesaid for reference

one thing is evident from AFL23 gameplay that player models and their movement is excellent. Not observed any sliding on ice like movements

Please keep the power for different shots balanced or provide us with power sliders for different shots for cric24. Currently in Cric22 the offside and straight down shots are more powerful than legside shots. Leg side shots should be at least equally powerful if not more. Its very hard to hit lofted shots for 6 on the leg side especially towards the fine leg region when compared to lofted drives which easily go for 6's.

Also would request not to restrict the user in terms of being able to skill players especially allrounders.

In Cric22 for licensed players one could not edit their bowling or batting style.(Gayle had a style where he shuffled in game which I would have liked to change to a normal style 1) or change them from an allrounder to a batsman (Marnus Labuschagne was a batting allrounder in game which meant his batting skills were restricted and I couldnt skill him as I could to a normal batsman.

Pls allow users to change things as per their preference at least for offline play. Having restrictions of any sort is only putting limits to the fun one can have with the game.

If you want all shots to be the same why do you need to edit players?
