Nah, sadly not. In all honesty making it their strength isn't a bad thing. I saw slightly more sweeps aswell

It's where batting needs to factor in at least three areas:

Style (stroke making preferences)
Approach (how do they look to score e.g. boundaries, accumulation etc)
Intent (levels of aggression/strike rate)

Question for people that love tinkering with the sliders: is there a way to make these fielders not be a complete moron and, instead of looking at the ball going between their legs, actually pick the ball up? I tried increasing their agility and coverage, but they're still clueless most of the time.

It is more of a bug than an ability thing I guess

Yeah, I was just trying to lessen its occurrence by increasing fielding attributes, but it is of no avail.

@JNT BA For next patch kindly consider adding rope ads for Ind, Pak and WI stadiums.. plain color on rope doesn't feel realistic.. at least whatever adboards are in the stadium use the same for rope ads..

Game changer for messing with timing windows. I'm genuinely being clean bowled by quicks now due to being late or even early due to slower balls. Plus various play and misses.

Finally bit the bullet with this (it's free on PS+...). Do I need to fiddle with the sliders or can I just play on the out of the box hard difficulty and have a good time?

I've played pretty much out of the box - only adjusted for my marker preference.

I reckon out the box is fine. What I will say is recently (out of boredom) I have had max pace on 85 and min pace on 40.

This has then creates a greater difference in the slower balls and faster balls. Along with a tweak to the early and late timing windows it's makig me earlier and late a lot more which has resulted in me being clean bowler and done LBW and little more.

There's little tweaks u can do to enhance it but I'd say it's more than playable at default.

I mean I've just bowled 113.1 overs. So I'm apparently not hating it so far
