I just hope they give me atleast 1 90% similar Chepauk stadium and call it Chennai rather than just giving me a generic ground and calling it Chennai.

Also no news about the commentators till now.I just hope that the worlds best commentator Mr.Harsha Bhogle is there, its highly unlikely though but i just wish Harsha is there, cant ask for something more then.

:lol hope not.I get headache by just listening one over of that moron.

Do spare us Harsha Bhogle or Danny Morrison... cheers.

Will most likely be Aussies, the guys who are not in Ashes 2013? *Maybe* the fox sports team since the game *may* have Big Bash.

But... they don't do tests so it would be weird.

So these are the challenges that should be in the game(Or at-least what I could get so far). There might be more, or there might be none.....

  5. An Innings And... - Beat a team by an innings.
  6. Get to Grips - Win a match on hard difficulty.
  7. Extra, Extra - Play a match without conceding any extras.
  8. Career Highlight - Get your career player to level 5.

  10. Centurion - Score a century with 1 batsman.

  12. Showing Intent - Score a six with a level 1 batsman.
  13. Mine! - Take an outfield catch
  14. Direct Hit - Run out a batsman with a direct hit.

  20. Record 11 - Have your #11 batsman score 61 or more.
  21. Safe Hands - Dismiss a team with just catches.
  22. Opening Stand - Score 300 runs in a test match with your opening batsmen.
  23. Wicket Maiden - Bowl an over with a wicket and no runs conceded.
  24. Star of the Future - Take 5 wickets with a level one bowler.
  25. White Wash - Complete a white wash in a 5 match test series.
  26. Catches Win Matches - Take a total of 500 catches.
  27. Legend Bowler - Take a total of 1000 wickets.
  28. Legend Batsman - Score a total of 10000 runs.

I think kit editing will be mostly in game - the attached is the Australian kit - which would then be masked with the particular colours needed for the resulting kit via either an in game editor or team config files.

So basically, you could probably edit the style of the lines and locations, but kits like the Indian one that have that gradient effect that probably needs a direct texture might be more difficult - unless I've just not found that bit yet.

Likewise I think sponsors would be layered on by the game as part of the team process.

Basically, like faces, you need to think about kits from the editor's standpoint, not how it's been done in the past.

How much of the files have you coded yet MattW.:spy

Well considering they intend on giving us file information on release, there's not much point trying that hard now - just enough to get all the information they didn't intend to release as a thanks for all the hard work they put in to making this part of the game.

Direct Hit - Run out a batsman with a direct hit.

Interesting...We had coaches tell us how important is fielding, sometimes more than just batting or bowling. And finally a game decided to incorporate it.

Wonder how you do throwing without it being a 'mini-game'

Wonder how you do throwing without it being a 'mini-game'

If you think about accounting for the accuracy you might need (direct to stumps vs keeper vs relay fielder) and how much time you take to consider the throw (quick throws are not as accurate), the attributes of the player throwing, how the player is facing, standing compared to the target of the throw and so on - there are enough variables for it not to be a mere mini-game.
