Hi all,
v1.30 is now available for download!
Changelog
- rewrote UDRS for LBWs
- reworked UDRS for catches
- AI no longer refers pointless LBW appeals
- all LBWs/edges must be appealed for
- bowling variations working again
- UDRS works now when ball is full-toss
- kits are white again for test matches
- tweaked batting physics
- fixed crash when a wicket ends a game
- fixed bowler variation (broken from previous v1.27->v1.29)
- re-enabled gamepad controls
- gamepad controls can be configured in controls menu
- runs correctly scored when overthrow results in boundary
- powerplays can be taken at correct time (previously was 1 over too late)
- updated controls
- target stops scaling when the ball is delivered
- adjusted ball-stump collisions
Controls
- the old controls still work as they always have
- I've introduced a new mechanism where you can "lock" which foot you want to play off before you play a shot
- if you press A/B/C/D during the bowler runup or delivery a box will appear at the top of the screen indicating which foot you're playing off
- when you want to play a shot, simply press a direction (without holding in A/B/C/D)
- you can change your foot whenever you want to - it doesn't get locked in only once
- NOTE: you can still hold in A/B/C/D if you feel more comfortable with that control scheme
Game Pads
- game pad support has been re-enabled
- simply plug in your game pad and restart the game
- when a game pad is plugged in the mouse will be disabled - you can control the cursor with the game pad
- the buttons/keys can be reassigned in Options -> Controls (the first 4 buttons are mapped to A/B/C/D by default)
- pressing A+B together will take you back to the menu when in-game
Known Issues
- run outs still happen when the batsman is in the crease but running away from the stumps
- game crashes when generating textures for Afghanistan
- kit colour is sometimes black
As always, if there are any questions, bug reports or suggestions please let me know and I'll resolve them ASAP.
Kind regards
Kurt
