There are buttons on right hand side. 5,10 and one more. 5 simulates 5 overs and 10 does for 10 overs. The upper simulates the whole innings

Hi guys, I tried Cricket Heroes 1.48 version for the first time and played a couple of quick games just to get a feel of it.

One thing I noticed that when you press Run key, both striker and non-striker don't start simultaneously. Same thing while Cancel Run key also. This may need fixing.

Another thing Kurt, could you please make the striker & non-striker in the in-game running-between-wickets index view as moving dots, just like they are on field-setup view. Whatever you choose to implement, please make them more distinguishable against the background. Currently they show up as shadows and their movement is quite difficult to notice.

I don't see it difficult to notice. One runs slow or fast all depends on their running speed. The running is mentioned when creating players

I have downloaded 1.48 v. But as i run the exe or editor. Game crashes with blue screen (memory dump) and my computer restarts. I have also tried as admin. :noway

computer specification:
1. Intel core 2 duo 2.80 ghz
2. 4 gb ram
3. 32 bit operating system.
4. windows 7 ultimate.
5. nvidia graphics 9500 1 gb.
:)

try adding cricket editor to Data Execution Prevention list :)

Hi guys,

I'm in Namibia at the moment so can't really do much with the game at the moment. I'll be back on the 29th though.

In the meantime, thanks to rahul for answering the various questions. Your help is invaluable :)

@Anshthedj: The batsmen speeds are affected by their stamina as well their base running speeds (some are faster than others - these values still need tweaking). Also, are you not seeing the batsman in the pitch view? If so, are you using an Intel gfx card or a proper integrate one by nvidia/Ati?

@kurt, Thanks for the clarification on running speeds. BTW, mine is an in-built Intel gfx card. Has it got anything to do with moving striker/non-striker being un-noticable on my system ?

I can see fielders, bowler,wicket-keeper displayed as bright-colored dots on field set-up view. So I was just hoping that striker/non-striker will be just as clearly distinguishable on Pitch view.

i have downloaded the latest update I am not able to add players to International team need help

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
