A very slow session for South Africa as it has looked like they are content to try to draw the game out as long as possible to force a draw. de Villiers looked good, before playing the sweep shot to Voges and missing a straight ball, falling two runs short of fifty. Philander looked good before flashing at a wide one and getting an edge onto his stumps for 31 a few overs before tea. Steyn, after AB's dismissal has looked solid in defence but will need to score a little quicker if he wants to make a decent score. A very tight spell from Mitchell Starc at the start of the session had the Saffers on the back foot, with Watson backing that up during the middle overs and then Voges with a very good spell towards the end of the session, keeping things tight while also taking the huge wicket of de Villiers.
With only a 197 run lead, South Africa will definitely need another 50 runs to have a good chance of securing a win and will probably need to bat out the rest of the day if they want to win this match.

Also, just a note. Why isn't the new ball available? Because I certainly would like some swing going but isn't going to happen with this shitty old ball
But yeah, that's an issue that needs to be fixed
