Quick question, if we pick up more than 18 do those over the 18 minimum still have to play a game in the season or only 18 of them?

Good question. I haven't thought about it earlier.
I really don't see a need to have more than 18 players.

So everyone in your team needs to play one match irrespective of the squad size
