Cricket Quiz

Ah in that case Andrew, I have no idea. Good question mate, If noone has answered it in a few days time, I might look it up again as you have got me intrigued by this one.

Ok, I'll give you a couple of clues.

1. As well as the husband and wife both playing international cricket, their son has also played, as has the husband's sister.

2. They have something in common with Gerraint Jones.

They all kidnapped Fletchers family? No that can't be right :p

As a complete random guess has it got anything to do with the Joyce family? I know a lot of them have played for Ireland in various forms of cricket, as well of course England in Eds case. Probably not, as I reckon it will be from earlier in history than that.

Nope, that's who we were talking about a few posts back, on the previous page. As they weren't married at the time of her appearances Andrew said they were not who he was talking about.

I mentioned the Hadlees, who he said he genuinely forgot about, so it is another married couple on top of the Hadlees.

No, my post above yours has my most recent guess. It is however just that, a complete guess. It's an excellent question, as even having a search online for the answer turns up nothing. Will no doubt turn out to be someone obscure who played a singular test for an emerging nation many years before I was born ;)

Nothing to do with them no. (That's 3 brothers and 2 sisters all played international cricket)

The wife actually made her debut this year.

Could be where they are from, or they are wicketkeepers, or playing for a country other than their nation of birth, or they are rubbish :p

I would expect that it's one of the minor nations, Andrew's cunning like that ;)

The Geraint Jones thing is a red herring, he has a million things that you can relate him to (his country, surname, county, family...etc).
