Cricket Quiz

OK, who is the only batsman to be denied a record by his future international coach?

Could I have the record, future coach and other player?

Just one person or record would be ignored, but two correct ones and I will say.

A wild guess then.Tendulkar denied to be the youngest test centurian by John Wright(maybe a catch)?

Im no cricket expert, but here goes.

(Thinks that this one should be a sitter for the likes of Andrew)

Who has the worst bowling figures in Test Cricket in terms of average and strike rate? (Both not the same person)

Is this based on a minimum number of games or with at least one wicket as there are plenty of players with a strike rate of zero and no average as they haven't taken any wickets (but have bowled). Do you mean match figures?

Fair point,I shouldve mentioned the criteria. That would be,played more than 1 test atleast and with a numeric number in there,i.e he must have taken atleast a wicket.

I think it's Rawl Lewis... Average 388.00 Strike Rate 759.00 rather bad.

Thats correct,your turn.

I can't believe this!!
I was asleep and in school in those 12 hours! You do know I live on the other side of the world right??
Darn it, now I'll have to wait for Colin to get another one right...geez...

1850?

Excellent. That question was asked at my clubs trivia night last year, so I'm pretty confident it's the right answer. I've got one ready to roll.

EDIT: May I ask my question yet?

Seeing as how its been two days, I'll go ahead and ask the next question.

Which bowler holds the record for bowling the most balls bowled in a test inning?
Bonus: Give the number of overs bowled and the number of wickets.

Not to accuse anyone here, but the fact that you knew every part of his figures leads me to believe you looked that up

I knew the bowler and number of overs, and might have guessed the wickets, (would probably have said 3 actually) but the rest of the figures no chance. Not saying you definately wouldn't have known, but technically I think it's no researching until it's been a good few days with no answer, and even then you should say ;)
