Cricket Quiz

I think I know who the other one was, I'm torn between 3 bowlers, I just can't remember if there was run-out, or another bowler got the wickets. My other guesses are, Sidney Barnes v South Africa, Sarfraz Nawaz v Australia, and Qadir v England. I was thinking Devon Malcolm v South Africa, but I am pretty sure someone got a wicket in that innings.

Just to chuck a few more bowlers into the equation, didn't Hadlee once get a 9-for? Also Murali took another against Zimbabwe but again I don't know if that was all the wickets, and you did say two different bowlers? Well hopefully I've got one of them in that list! If not I have no idea :(

One of your guesses is the right one, can you guess which one?

I do have 2 or 3 questions.. but it's a Friday, I'm feeling generous and you did ask nicely. So no you can't!

No only joking, go for it mate.

I had a feeling it would be one of them NP :) If I had to have guessed at one when you asked I would probably have gone for Qadir first to be honest, makes Narwaz the only quickie of that Quartet.

Thanks :)

Ok, here's mine:
Who scored the highest ever ODI score for a UAE cricketer? Bonus for against who.
No gooling, and please restrain yourself from answering Andrew :( Or atleast wait a day...

The only UAE player I know is their captain Arshad Ali, was it him? If not him then unfortuantely he's the only played I know. No idea who against, since I don't even know if it was him :p

Andrew will know this without doubt.

Not Arshad Ali, no. Although if he does play again soon, he could break it. Would be challenging, but not impossible.
And I'm certain Andrew will know, hence hoping he holds back his fire till everyone gives up :p

I remember there was a player called Saleem Raza(sp?) who was opening the batting for them in the 96 World Cup. He made a decent score in one game against another non-Test nation, but I can't remeber who or how many it was. I'll guess it was against Holland and it was 75-ish runs.

Bingo! Saleem Raza it was, and indeed against Holland (Netherlands)!
The scored was 84, but since you got 2/3 right, your turn!

Excellent.

I'm not very good at asking questions because I don't know what will be too easy and what will be too hard, but I'll give it my best.

Question: Name the two Australian players who played Test Cricket in the 70's, 80's and 90's

I would have though one of them was Allan Border, not sure on the other though!

I'm pretty sure Border is one. Can't think of another one who might have. I know Aladerman played for a while, could he be one?
