Cricket Quiz

The one I can think of is Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, probably internationally, not sure though if his is the longest surname in FC cricket.

Can't believe I forgot that. I was thinking most amount of names for some reason.. I am knackered afterall having watched the cricket all night. Not sure if it's first class as well, but that is defiantely the longest name in test cricket history.

Test's are first-class, as any good cricket fan knows :D

The name is wrong though.

Yes I know! But First Class cricket doesn't count as test cricket so there could be someone who played first class cricket, and not test cricket with a longer name ;)

Which their obviously is, if Laxman isn't it ;)

Ofcourse we all know that test stats are added to FC,so a test match also affects your FC stats, but not the reverse.

Got me thinking again, since its not Siva Im guessing this bloke must never have played international cricket then?

Yep without doubt, because Siva is the longest surname in test history.

Curiosity got the better of me and I had to look into the internet for the answer, found it as well, not going to answer it here though.

EDIT:That surname is huge andrew.I cant even try reading how it'll sound like. :p

I don't suppose Jan Venegoor of Hesselink has ever donned his whites for Holland as he? ;)

Laxman was my guess too so i'm stumped.

You could only come up with a six letter surname as your answer?

Stick a :p at the end of sarcastic posts! I've had many moments where people just won't get it otherwise ;)

Correct. What Im impressed about is what his surname means when translated in English. If we actually had that,we'd be having sentences as surnames. :p

Blimin' hell Sid I just looked it up too, and you weren't lying! That's one hell of a surname :) It's translation alone is almost a whole paragraph :p

In that case Andrew! It's a Fijian chap.

Ilikena Lasarusa Talebulamainavaleniveivakabulaimainakulalakebalau

Which apparently means - returned alive from Nankula hospital at Lakemba island in the Lau group.

Means I get to ask my question from earlier after letting Zorax have my go :p

I'll wait for confirmation though ;)
