Cheers Mike, it got better when I heard Ponting was indeed mentioning Symonds and Warnie in the original interview:)
Taking it to the next level the presentation we guys are eh, it all started with the inspiration from m_vaughan.

This one game is a goner as I have lost the saved game. This match will be replayed at a later date.

Instead of playing 3 games between each other team, it is now restricted to 2. The next game is between New Zealand and Australia at Westpactrust stadium, Wellington. The following are the conditions for the game :

The first half of the game : Green, Grey & Mild
The second half of the game : Normal, Night & Cold

Given the changing pitch and weather conditions it is crucial to win the toss and bowl first.

you need not replay the entire match. Just make South Africa bat in a new match, and assume that they have to chase the target set by england.

I know what you mean but just wanted to start afresh. Give England another chance to post big score again.

From now on follow the world series from the following link otherwise it will be very hard for anyone to even look into this thread given the number of pictures I may upload. Thanks to Vaughan, I have now been uploading the pictures on photobucket and have quickly created a text only website with links leading to the photos & videos. Read the reports from the Schedules and results link in the left frame. Statistics are not pointing rightly for now and also couple of pages arent up yet. Still have a look and let me know if anything :

Absolutely dominated the openers otherwise NZ could have restricted them to under 200 for sure. Need to borrow few bowling tips from you.;)

NZ lose the 2nd ODI by 57 runs

NZ put up a spirited fight back but still lost the game by 57 runs. Fleming, Astle and Cairns were the main contributors. There were instances where NZ felt they could win the game. The run rate was healthy but the mounting pressure and some good bowling by Australia saw NZ lose wickets regularly. In the end if NZ were over whelmed by the number of runs they needed to score they probably could have made it. Not much positives for NZ to carry over in terms of bowling but they should feel good with the amount of runs they were able to score in both the ODIs against the mighty Australians. Australia on the other hand may have to look at other bowling options now that McGrath has not looked that much effective on both the occassions.

Another good win for the Aussies. But the Kiwiz fought hard. But how come no Ian Harvey for Australia? He is probably one of the best all rounders in ODIs today. (The best being Freddie ofcourse)

The team selection was based from the previous match's performances. None deserved to be dropped hence no Harvey. Maybe now Harvey can make a comeback given McGrath is giving runs away like a millionare.

Now the action moves to Sharjah for the first of the ODI between England and Namibia. Namibia have signed some very experience international players along with some budding cricketers to make a claim for the World champion crown.

Namibia has the following 20 for this 2 match ODI series against England :

Carl Hooper - WI
Naseer Hussain (V-Capt) - ENG
W.Jaffer - IND
U.Afzaal - ENG
W.Younis - PAK
S.Udal - ENG
R.Sodhi - IND
R.Smith - ENG
R.King - WI
O.Shah - ENG
M.Slater - AUS
M.Ramprakash - ENG
M.Ealham - ENG
H.Raza - PAK
G.Hamilton - ENG
D.Ramnarine - WI
D.Dasgupta - IND
C.Nevin WK - NZ
F.Rose - WI
M.Bicknell - ENG

It was reported N.Hussain was very instrumental with Namibia signing up with so many Ex England players. Although there are a lot of players who didnt do so well when they had opportunities they still are a good bunch of cricketers. Can N.Hussain inspire these guys to beat his own country? Stay tuned.

England's line up for the game :

Trescothick, Strauss, Key, Vaughan, Flintoff, Collingwood, Jones, Blackwell, Gough, Harmison and Anderson.

Namibia's lineup for the game :

C.Nevin, Slater, Jaffer, Hussain, Hooper, H.Raza, Sodhi, Hamilton, Eaalham, Rose and W.Younis.

Come on guys throw some predictions.
