You can't do that under the new rules. As soon as you hit the delivery stride you can no longer turn around and get the other batsman out be he in or out of his ground.
The bowler can attempt to run out either batsman by throwing the ball at either wicket. This attempt must be made prior to him reaching his delivery stride and provided that he conforms to this, any successful run out of either batsman will be upheld.
If he fails to run out the non-striker, the umpire will call and signal Dead ball
If he fails to run out the stiker, the umpire will call and signal No Ball for an illegal arm action.
If the bowler simply stopped in his run up and the batsman ran a single 5 penalty runs will be awarded to the fielding side, batsman returned to relevant ends and it's a Dead Ball.
So basically, if I have an injury, and it is 1 run to win off 1 ball, I can call for a runner, and the non-striker and the runner can sprint as the ball is delivered and basically be 3/4s of the way home by the time i play the ball (especially if a spinner is bowling).
Ridiculous.

He didn't turn around. see this YouTube - kapildev mankaded kirsten
Well it would be natural for the runner to run as soon as the ball is played by the batsman, thus giving an unfair advantage.Yeah, sounds like a loophole. Probably would result in a spirit of cricket issue.
Oh Jesus Christ. Can you not read? 'YOU CAN'T DO THIS UNDER THE NEW RULES.'
Yes congratulations, they could to it back then as it was still in the rules as possible.
You need to repeat cos you're incoherent. The rule, pre change said that no matter where you were in part of your bowling run-up or delivery, the bails could be taken off. The change afterwards said that you couldn't do it once you had hit the delivery stride. FYI the change didn't occur when Kapil Dev was playing, it happened recently.
Jesus. Go away again, this place was better without you.
