You've probably carefully noted that most people on here don't agree with pretty much any of your inane ramblings since the original thread was posted. I actually, like most people (see poll) agree with most things in your original post. The only concerns that most had were with your use of hyperbole and attacks against the developers. The problem, as most have pointed out is that you've moved from an insightful collection of issues to hyperbole and personal insults against the devs, and that's about it. The majority, myself included, agree with the issues you've complained about for the most part; you are squarely in the minority with virtually everything else you've posted since. I get the impression though that you've conflated the support for your original list of problems with support for these inane ramblings since, this probably explains the tone you've taken.

In my opinion, the bolded text is where you lose everyone.

You have legitimate points (sometimes masked by extreme exaggeration), but then you drop a line like this that has absolutely zero groundings in fact or reality. You don't know how much they care, or what effort has gone in, so why make the comment? You could have just stated your grievance (e.g. shot control is limited, based on xyz evidence) and just left it. You could have had a voice in improving the game, but you piss it away with comments like this.

I had done just that in my OP and even offered to help.....before defenders of this game moved heaven and earth to undermine any criticism whatsoever....no choice but to argue and debate....to drive home the point (factual points as agreed by the masses).

Which "factual points" are people disagreeing with? Let's just go back through the recent pages:

The last few pages were you being systematically proven wrong on your 50% claim, showing that it's actually in the 30-35% range. Nobody disagreeing that there are shots that don't trigger.

Before that you were just whinging to yourself in some inane ramblings. There was literally zero content in those pages.

Before that there was you actually arguing with shadows about a point nobody made about shot selection.

We were called out for our secret affair before that.

Something about VR, didn't go anywhere.

Fine....good that you at least acknowledge that most of the problems stated within my review exist....now the question that begs asking is.....how can you support a game with so many problems.....why not wait for Bigant to fix them before assuming that they can and will.

You said 35...I said aroud 50....reality was 41...so it is nothing to celebrate about....any way even if it is 35 or 40....it is still totally unacceptable. Get it together my friend.

Because the problems aren't game breaking, and I can see how they're going to fix them at some level. It's a fun game overall with some problems. That's the difference between our positions. People aren't denying problems, they just don't think they make the game a broken mess.

Because of your signature "what you see is what you get". I have and many "masses" your word not mine, have seen BA fixing it. So there is no question of they can and will. Also BA have already stated PATCH 3 is coming, no time frame but it is coming. With PC release coming up it will get easier for BA as it will be easier to send fix. Now stop whining about how bad this game is and come back during Patch 3 release, play it for few hours and start whinging then

God forbid people support it because they enjoy it.

And how can you repeatedly ignore Big Ant's track record of listening to the community, supporting games post-release, and taking into account community feedback? How can you repeatedly ignore the fact Big Ant are continuing to engage with the community in an effort to improve the product?

If they packed up shop and went silent, I could understand where you're coming from. But they haven't.

...are... are you kidding me? It's 34.7%, at the very most. You made 41% up with zero evidence. You cannot claim that, because you have zero evidence to back it, and the evidence is that it's at the very most 34.7%.

How much of the field do you believe you should be able to hit with standard shots in a Test match? If I really wanted to push it I'm sure with unorthodox shots I could hit about 75%+ of the field in game.

People are indeed saying its broken, and in no uncertain terms. Thousands of fans have voiced disgust about this game on social media and an overwhelming majority strongly agree with the critical review that I have written here.

You may have a different stance and think that it is fun.....that is where the difference in standards and expectations probably lies.....I expect better....and more than the quality of the game....I expect candidness from the developer in the face of such a poor output....especially as it is worse than its predecessor. How they managed to make it significantly worse than its predecessor is probably one of the greatest mysteries in gaming!

The majority agreed with the problems you stated. There is nothing to suggest that the majority think the game is broken.

The game is currently in a better state than it's predecessor was at the same point in it's development cycle.
