PS3: DBC Disconnecting from PSN

Just wanted to check with the rest of the Online Community.

Myself and a couple of other SA Based players are having difficulty playing DBC online Since Yesterday.

Anyone else had the same problems ?

We would typically get disconected from PSN whilst creating , or create and before a ball is bowled et disconnected , or then an over or so later.

I was in a game against Francis about a week ago, rough guess. He was having trouble with disconnections and it kept happening but eventually he was able to connect ok. Then mine started I must have been kicked off psn 5 or 6 times and I kept having to sign back in.

It happens from time to time on PS4, but if you just create another game, it fixes automatically. Not really a problem at all on ps4.

Yesterday , me and the opponent tried for over an hour , doing all the usual resets , router resets , PS3 Connection resets , and ended up being disconnected about 20 times in the space of an hour . The exact same thing are happening with other players in our SA Group that I`m chatting to . Sometimes , you will not even get to the screen to start bowling , or just bowl 1 ball.

@MattW , nothing that you guys maybe know of . I`m aware of about 6 of our SA League Players that now struggles to string an over together before disconnecting . So I know its not something on my side.

Same thing is happening to me too on PS3..Me and @francisjery were playing co-op and it got disconnected like 4-5 times..So stopped playing online..

It started happening around the time that the PS4 Update was released , but I think its a long shot that it can influence the PS3 Online Players.

Disconnection is happening today as well. Games get disconnected two times within one over

So there was a period where it was all fine on PS3 after the patch then?

To be exact, we get disconnected mostly in the weekends when most of us are online. I played 2 T20 matches yesterday afternoon but didn't get so many dc.

But when started to play after 9 PM IST we were not able to continue the game more than two overs.

If it's specific times of day, then that can only be down to your local internet connections. The times when most people get home from school/work are peak periods on internet demand.

Whereas if people are getting something that only started occurring since the patch, then causes related to the game itself would be more likely.

I don't think Internet connection is the cause for this. Bcz, we have been playing in the weekends and in the evening time since past two years nearly. But haven't faced this much of disconnects.

Also, I am not the only one facing dc problem. It seems almost online players from all the country is facing the issue.

If it was the net then we should be facing regular disconnection while play GTA online as well, right? But that's not the case..

There's different dynamics - on GTA that's a server based thing so you just need communication on one side - whereas the peer to peer of DBC requires both ends to constantly maintain the connection to eachother, which multiplies any connection issues.

Comparisons with other one on one sports games would be more relevant.

If the problems started the moment you got the patch that added co-op, then that's different to something happening more recently to that, and points to different causes.
